We realize that there will be organizations that are sending multiple attendees to the conference. We are grateful to those organizations that do bring these groups to our conference. We do ask that when you are reserving your hotel rooms, that you reserve rooms that will actually be needed to accommodate those attendees. We kindly ask that you not reserve rooms in excess of your needs, so that we can accommodate all of those that will be utilizing the rooms in our hotel room blocks to attend the conference. Reserving rooms in numbers exceeding your actual needs can impact the hotel room block and the conference negatively when they are cancelled within a week to 10 days of the conference. As soon as you reserve these rooms, they are held out of the hotel room inventory held for the CMSA room block and prevent others to book them. If you reserve them in anticipation of multiple participants attending, we ask that you adjust your room block as soon as possible. CMSA will obtain an audit of all rooms booked in our conference hotels. If it is determined that an organization has held and ultimately cancelled a reservation that included 3 or more rooms within 14 days prior to the start of the conference, June 19, 2018, a fee will be assessed against the organization.
