Nyweide named as the company’s new CFO Founder and CEO, Dean Sproles, is on leave Seattle, WA April 7, 2014 — Today it was announced that changes have been made to the management team of Iverson Genetic Diagnostics, Inc. CEO, President, and Chairman of the Board Dean Sproles is on leave. Dean will be attending to personal matters while on leave, but has offered to be available as needed to support the Interim Management Team. Respect for his privacy does not allow us to further comment on the details of his leave. Yelena Shevelenko has been named as interim CEO and Jeffrey O. Nyweide has been named as the interim CFO. Harvey Schiller, Ph.D., who has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors, made the announcement. Dr. Schiller stated, “As founder and CEO of Iverson Genetic Diagnostics, Dean Sproles has made a significant contribution to the company, and while he will no longer be involved in the company’s day-to-day operations, he will still be available in an advisory capacity, and he will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors.” New interim CEO Yelena Shevelenko brings over 20 years of experience in executive management and leadership positions to Iverson Genetic Diagnostics. Since 2010 Ms. Shevelenko has been integral to Iverson’s Research and Development strategy. Prior to her work with Iverson Genetic Diagnostics, Ms. Shevelenko had a leadership position at Rosetta Biosoftware, a division of Merck & Co., in the development and commercialization of industry- defining genomics and proteomics software, which led to the company’s acquisition by Microsoft. -More- April 7 2014.docx Iverson Genetic Diagnostics announces changes/222 Ms. Shevelenko stated, “I appreciate this opportunity to establish the continuity that ensures Iverson Genetic Diagnostics is a leader in the industry of providing genetic testing to health care providers. Nyweide as our new CFO.” Before he joined Iverson Genetic Diagnostics as CFO, Jeffrey O. Nyweide has been a successful entrepreneur for over 25 years. He was the CFO of several global management and consulting groups, including the Schiller Management Group (SMG), and the GlobalOptions Group, which he helped to take public in 2005 and is now traded on the NASDAQ. Other leadership posts held by Mr. Nyweide include being a Venture Partner with Millennium Technology Ventures, L.P., a New York-based venture capital firm, since 2001, and from 1987 to 2000, Nyweide co-founded and then grew Dataware Technologies, Inc., a software and services company. As Director, President and Chief Operating Officer of Dataware Technologies, Inc., he took that company public. Mr. Nyweide also has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, finance and operations, as well as with establishing international business in Europe and in Asia. Chairman of the Board Harvey W. Schiller, Ph.D., has served on the board of Iverson Genetic Diagnostics for two years. Dr. Schiller brings significant experience and knowledge in strategic management and raising capital to the company. Dr. Schiller is Vice Chairman and President of the Sports, Media and Entertainment Practice of Diversified Search, and Chairman and CEO of GlobalOptions Group, an international risk management and business solutions company. His previous leadership positions have included Chairman of Assante U.S.; Chairman and CEO of YankeeNets, an integrated sports-based media company with ownership of the New York Yankees, New Jersey Nets, and New Jersey Devils; Vice President, Sports Programming for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.; President of Turner Sports, Inc., a division of Time Warner; and President and Governor of the NHL expansion franchise, Atlanta Thrashers. Dr. Schiller served for more than 25 years in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Brigadier General.
