The Leader of the House has announced that Private Members’ Bills shall have precedence over Government business on 22 October 2010, 12 & 19 November 2010, 3 December 2010 & 21 January 2011, 4 & 11 February 2011, 4 & 18 March 2011, 1 April 2011, 13 May 2011 and 10 & 17 June 2011. On the 30 March 2011 four more Private Members’ Bill Fridays were introduced; 9 September 2011, 21 October 2011, 25 November 2011 and 20 January 2012 The Budget: The Budget Statement took place on Wednesday 23 March 2011 By-election The Writ has been moved for Inverclyde by Ms Rosie Winterton. The seat became vacant when David Cairns passed away.
