Badminton Stars Set to Compete in Sydney Media Release Friday 13 May, 2016 Badminton Stars set to compete in Sydney Get ready for some hot competition as the world’s best badminton players meet in Sydney to compete in one of the world’s most prestigious badminton event, the XIAMENAIR Australian Badminton Open from June 7-12, 2016 at Sydney Olympic Park. Badminton has a huge profile in countries such as China, Malaysia, India, Korea and Indonesia, and the sport is growing in popularity in Australia. Set to air on broadcast channels including GDTV in China, Star Sports in India and NetMedia in Indonesia this year’s event will be broadcasted to more than 250 million homes globally. The XIAMENAIR Australian Badminton Open has drawn a stellar line-u of international players in the event history ready to battle it out in Sydney. Two-time Olympic champion an five-time world champion Lin Dan (China) will be returning to Sydney along with current World No.1 Chen Long (China). Current World No. 1 Ratchanok Intanon (Thailand) and defending women’s singles champion and World No. 2 Carolina Marin (Spain) will be playing in Sydney. Abstract. Basing on the Chinese Badminton Team’s eighth final game in 2015, the 14th Sudirman Cup, through summarizing and analyze on video observation, mathematical statistics, comparative analysis and other research methods to find out the key causes of the victory, providing the theoretical basis for our country to continue to maintain a high level in badminton games. Introduction The 14th Sudirman Cup mixed team event was held as scheduled on May 10, 2015 in Dongguan, China. 35 teams took part in the 8-day serial games and the Chinese team has once again become the final winner, won six consecutive sessions Su Cup. From the knockout round, the Chinese team conducted a total of 10 games, including a mixed doubles tournament field, men’s singles match 3 games, women’s singles match 2 games, men’s doubles match 3 games, 1 women’s doubles tournament field. We have won against the German team, the Indonesian team and Japanese team scoring 3-0, 3-1, 3-0. All 10 games are between the world’s top badminton contest athletes, which can best reflect the current overall level of world badminton Sports. Through video observation, mathematical statistics, comparative analysis and literature research methods, this essay analyzes both the score and error during the Su Cup mixed race in order to identify a number of key factors in winning the race for China to provide theoretical basis to maintain a high level in badminton games.
