After an international experience, I arrived in Bordeaux in 2014 as a postdoctoral fellow for the IdEx attractiveness campaign in the team led by Yann Humeau at the Interdisciplinary Institute of Neuroscience (IINS). I was recruited the same year as a researcher at the CNRS and IdEx transformed my post-doctorate into a Visiting Chair. The following year, I obtained an ANR young researcher funding and a Marie-Curie fellowship, and was named Laureate of the National Academy of Medicine. Now, I'm running my own group within IINS with ERC Starting Grant funding (2016-2021). Jason Bayer

United States postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bordeaux in Biomedical Engineering at the Institute of Rhythmology and Cardiac Modeling (Liryc)

After a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, the IHU Bordeaux welcomed me as a postdoctoral fellow in 2013. I work closely with Liryc researchers and clinicians to develop new diagnostic and therapeutic tools for cardiac arrhythmias. My post-doctoral research project, funded by the Whitaker International Program, a grant from the Lefoulon-Delalande Foundation, and more recently, the National Research Agency (ANR), focuses mainly on developing and using large-scale computer models of the human heart to better understand and test anti- arrhythmic treatments. Specifi cally, I use these new digital tools to determine low-energy, pain-free defi brillation strategies in patients at risk for ventricular fi brillation and optimize ablation strategies in patients with atrial fi brillation. Obviously, the excellence of the cardiology teams in Bordeaux is an essential and invaluable condition for carrying out these major projects that respond to public health issues. © Arthur Péquin © Arthur

Italia postdoctoral researcher in Digital Communication on Health at the Bordeaux Population Health (BPH) research center

After graduating in theories of communication at the University of Florence in Italy, I obtained a European doctorate in Psychology and Psychiatry at the University of Verona in collaboration with the University Pierre and Marie Curie of Paris. My thesis dealt with "Mental health in Europe: the need for a common language, standard classifi cation criteria and off icial communication." Following this work on access to mental health services, their geographic distribution, and the use of the Internet as a means of information on this subject, I joined the Bordeaux Population Health research center as a post-doctoral student in 2014. My current research projects are in the fi eld of digital health communication. For the last three years, IdEx Bordeaux has allowed me to focus my research on the use of Internet for healthcare access for young people. In December 2015, I won a €50,000 project to create a smart application geolocating healthcare institutions of interest to students in Bordeaux: the "served-Share" project within the i-Share cohort. © Arthur Péquin © Arthur

Glenna Drisko

United States CNRS researcher and researcher in materials chemistry at the Bordeaux Institute of Condensed Matter Chemistry (ICMCB)

France attracted me because of the excellent international reputation of CNRS researchers in sol-gel chemistry. American by birth, I pursued my doctorate in Australia. My work on materials allows me to access a post-doctorate at the laboratory of Condensed Matter Chemistry in Paris (LCMCP), where I learned the shaping of materials. During my second postdoctoral fellowship at the Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry in Toulouse (LCC), I acquired a range of skills in synthesizing nanoparticles away from air and water. These skills allowed me to develop the nano-bricks required by the Bordeaux meta-materials community to synthesize silicon nanoparticles using chemistry, a major challenge for materials science. LabEx AMADEus believed in my complex and risky project when others thought it impossible. The support and solidarity of this community have sustained my position within the Bordeaux scientifi c ecosystem through a junior chair in 2016 at the Bordeaux Institute of Condensed Matter Chemistry (ICMCB). This acceptance of risk, added to the expertise of colloidal physicists and chemists, brings us closer every day to the ultimate goal: to design materials that are ready to revolutionize optics through the construction of nanostructured

The purpose of the Audit Committee is to examine the organizational and governance procedures and methods of IdEx Bordeaux and to assess their compliance with the commitments made during the agreement.

44 45 Financial commitment plan The IdEx Bordeaux Management Board is responsible for implementing the program in accordance with the principles established and approved by the government. Its multi-year scheduling and monitoring tool is the "Commitment Plan" which is revised on a semi-annual basis. The latest commitment plan in the probationary period, eŸective 31 December 2016, is the 13th version (P13). It is structured according to three lines of action:

- Action 1: resources dedicated to conducting structural projects and multiannual programs; - Action 2: mutual support actions for projects and programs; - Action 3: engineering and governance of IdEx and PIA. A new commitment plan will be launched in the 2017-2020 phase of IdEx Bordeaux. However, given the multi-year nature of IdEx's actions, the execution of P13 is scheduled through 2019. In addition, the University of Bordeaux and its partners have committed to co-finance the IdEx Bordeaux investment plan by allocating a minimum of €2 of its own resources for each euro invested. An external co-financing objective of €1 for €1 of IdEx has also been set.
