I speak for everyone at University of Maryland Global Campus when I say that it has been our honor to help you in the pursuit of your goals and your dreams. This year, we celebrate our 70th anniversary of educating our U.S. troops and their families in Europe. Today’s commencement also marks another historic milestone: you will be the first to cross the stage as graduates of University of Maryland Global Campus. Today, you represent our greatest achievement, and we are proud to recognize and celebrate your success. I am also honored to offer a special salute to our active-duty members of the U.S. military and to our veterans who are graduating today.
