2. INVITATION We are kindly invite National Boxing Federations to participate XX The Klitschko Tournament ‐ an international boxing competition among youth. Annually, young boxers from around the world come together to present themselves loudly and to be tested on the ring in the contest with the worthy adversary. The Tournament is also a preliminary stage, after which the best boxers have the honor to represent their state during the World and European Championships.

3. ORGANISERS The Organisers of Klitschko Tournament is The Ukrainian Boxing Federation affiliated AIBA and EUBC, Ukrainian Ministry of Sports and Klitschko Foundation, has created a Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the event. 4. CONDITIONS OF THE PARTICIPATION The Klitschko Tournament will be held according to the AIBA Rules in 10 weight categories: 46‐49kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 64kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg, 91kg, 91+ kg. Men boxers of 17‐18 years old based of the year of birth (born between January 1st, 2000 and December 31st, 2001) will eligible to participate in the Tournament. Boxers must have valid international AIBA record books. R/Js must have AIBA international certification. The participants wear red and blue vests. Bouts will consist of 3 rounds 3 minutes each. Electronic scoring system will be used. A participant drops out after the first defeat.

5. TEAM COMPOSITION Team Delegations should consist up to 10 boxers – one in each category. 1‐3 boxers – Up to 5 official, 1 R/Js. 4‐7 boxers – Up to 8 officials, 2 R/Js.

8‐10 boxers – Up to 10 officials, 2 R/Js.

Please be reminded that Team Delegations without R/Js is not allowed to participate in the Klitschko Tournament. Team managers are highly recommended to provide the Organizing Committee with their national anthem and 2 national flags (2x1m).

6. TRANSPORTATION The Day of Arrive is 10th of September and the Day of Departure is 16th of September. All participants are responsible for their travel expenses to and from Kyiv, Ukraine. The Organizers will meet Team Delegations at IA Boryspil (KPB) or IA Kyiv (IEV) airports in Kyiv. Local transportation is free of charge and will be provided by the LOC to and from the airports, to the RAMADA ENCORE KIEV HOTEL, to the Competitions Venue and Training Venue. In case of arrivals during different days, one way transportation will be costs 50 euros per up to 6 persons. All flight information related to the Team Delegations must be sent to the Organising Committee not later than 31st of August 2018.

7. VISA The Organiser guarantees entry to the Ukraine for all participants within the Team Delegation, providing the complete applications are submitted prior to Sunday, July 15. Teams Delegations must get visas in the Ukrainian Embassy in their country if it is required. Additional information possible to find on the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Confirmation of Team Delegation must be sent to the Ukrainian boxing Federation not later than 30th of June 2018 (mail to: [email protected], [email protected] with the letter subject “Klitschko Tournament Participant”). Final forms (with boxers’ names, weight categories, number of officials) – not later than 15th of July 2018.

8. ACCOMMODATION RAMADA ENCORE is the official Hotel of Klitschko Tournament for Team Delegations. Built in 2012 in anticipation of the European football championship, Ramada Encore Kyiv has already gained confidence of guests and deserved a decent position among other Kiev hotels. The hotel is located in a modern 20‐storey building on the right bank of the Dnepr River in a 15‐minute ride from the center of Kiev. Three meals per day will be served.

For each person of the team a payment of 50 euros per day will be required. No deposit will be charged upon registration. All Team Delegations must pay their room charges as above for the entire Event Period (September, 10‐16). Team Delegation will not be able to receive accreditation cards and hotel room keys if payment is not made.

9. COMPETITION SYSTEM The Klitschko Tournament will be run according to AIBA Technical Rules and AOB Competition Rules. The Official Draw will be conducted by Swiss Timing though electronic draw.

11. MEDALS AND AWARDS LOC will distribute for each of the 10 weight categories ‐ one gold for 1st, one silver for 2nd and two bronze medals for 3rd and 4th places. The Award for the Best Boxer of Klitschko Tournament will be distributed at the end of the event. Special prizes and souvenirs from sponsors will be provided.

12. INSURANCE AND MEDICAL INFO All participants are requested to get their own travel and medical insurance at the all period of travel. The Organiser will provide medical care and first aid on period of Tournament for all boxing sports injury. All boxers must bring a valid AIBA Medical Certificate.

13. PRE‐TOURNAMENT TRAINING CAMP The LOC would be glad to invite interested Team Delegations for a Training Camp before the Klitschko Tournament organized by Ministry of sports of Ukraine from September 01 to 10.
