Sri Dumpati Krishna, R/o Khammam District has filed a Complaint dated 20-01-2018 which was received by this Commission on 24-01-2018 for not getting the information sought by him from the PIO / O/o The Mandal Tahsildar, Kamepalli Mandal, Khammam District-507002. 2. The brief facts of the case as per the Complaint and other records received along with it are that the Complainant herein filed an application dated 22-11-2017 before the PIO requesting to furnish the information under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, on the following points mentioned in his application annexed. 3. The Public Information Officer has not furnished the information to the Complainant. 4. As the Complainant did not receive the required information from the PIO even after 30 days of filing his application, he preferred this Complaint before the Commission requesting to arrange to furnish the information sought by him u/s 18(1) of the RTI Act, 2005. The Complaint was taken on file and notices were issued to both the parties for hearing on 26-02- 2019. On 26-02-2019 the case is called. The complainant is present. The Public Information Officer, O/o the Tahsildar, Kamepally Mandal, Khamma District is absent. The complainant submitted that he did not receive the sought information from the PIO. A perusal of the record goes to show that no information is furnished by the Public Information Officer with regard to the 6(1) application dated 22.11.2017 filed by the complainant herein. The Commission directs the PIO to furnish the sought information to the complainant within one week from the date of receipt of this order and submit compliance report to the Commission. With the above direction, the complaint is closed. Issue show cause notice to the Public Information Officer for not furnishing the information to the complainant within the stipulated time and not attending the hearing.
