Program Background 2021 2021 Normal West Wildcat Baseball Background about the Normal West H.S. baseball program —The Wildcat baseball program has averaged over 25 wins per season and has accumulated an overall record of 605-261 during its 24 seasons of baseball dating back to the spring of 1996. The Wildcats have a string of 23 straight winning seasons, including 12 Regional Championships and 7 “Sweet 16” appearances. In addition, the Wildcats play in the 4A division; the largest of Illinois high schools. Included during that same span, 17 Wildcat teams in the past 22 seasons have won a Regional Championship and/or a Big 12 Championship. Nearly 100 former Wildcat players have gone on to play collegiately since 1996 along with 24 of them at the Division I level.
