You, having appeared in the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) held on 07 Feb 21 for admission to Class IX in Sainik School Chandrapur for the academic session 2021-22, has been shortlisted for undergoing medical examination. The candidates are to report at Sainik School Chandrapur at 0700 h on 16-Apr-2021 as per the date wise medical schedule published on Sainik School Chandrapur website www.sainikschoolchandrapur.com . Candidates are to download the ‘Medical Form’ from school website, fill the first part of the form and bring along with them, while coming for medical examination. 2. The call letters for medical examination are being dispatched by post, however, in case of non-receipt of medical examination due to postal delay or otherwise, the candidates can obtain a copy of medical call letter from school one day prior to their date of medical examination. Candidates must bring the following documents in original and a copy: - (a) Copy of Admit Card. (b) Copy of Mark List. (c) Original Call letter sent by the school for conduct of Medical. (d) Two latest passport size photographs. 3. Efforts will be made to complete the Medical Examination in one day. However, the medical examination of each candidate may continue for 02-03 days from the date of medical. Therefore, candidates are to make necessary lodging and boarding arrangements at their own for minimum 03 days at Chandrapur. No TA/DA 2 is admissible to attend the Medical Examination. However, Medical Examination may take even more days. On completion of the Medical Examination, candidates may leave the designated place after obtaining permission from the School representative. 4. Candidates are to pay an amount of Rs 100/- per candidate by means of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Principal, Sainik School Chandrapur, payable at Bank of Maharashtra Chandrapur, for meeting the administrative expenditure incurred in conduct of medical examination of candidates. In case, any other expenditure incurred for medical tests/ special investigations as part of medical examination of candidates will be borne by candidate/their parents. 5. Only parents (father/ mother) or guardian (only in case both father and mother are not alive), should accompany the candidate at the time of Medical Examination. Uncles, teachers and other relatives are strictly forbidden to accompany the candidates during medical examination. 6. Candidates are advised to get the wax removed from the ears before coming for Medical Examination to avoid temporary medical rejections and inconvenience, as it has been observed that there were many temporary rejections on account of wax in the ears. Candidates are also advised to get medically examined by an Eye specialist. In case, candidate wear glasses (spectacles), he/she is to bring spectacles and medical prescription containing eye sight details. 7. It may be noted that the number of candidates called for medical examination is more than the number of vacancies available (1:3 ratio) in order to cover absentees and rejections in the medical examination. Therefore, it may clearly be understood that mere shortlisting the name of candidate for medical examination does not guarantee of admission to Sainik School Chandrapur and does not constitute any commitment on the part of the School to admit the candidate. Admissions will be made strictly as per the merit list to be prepared after medical examination of all the shortlisted candidates. 8. Candidates finally selected on the basis of merit and medical fitness will be offered admission and are required to join the School on the date as communicated subsequently to selected candidates only. 9. The review covered key social sector programmes relating to health, education, water supply, social welfare and economic sector programs relating to creation of roads, employment generation and poverty alleviation , provision of basic amenities to the public etc. Some of the significant findings are as follows: The District Planning Committee had not prepared a five year perspective plan or an integrated district plan covering all the activities for overall development of the district (Paragraph 4.1.6) There was lack of facilities and skilled manpower in the health institutions. (Paragraph 4.1.8.1) In the education sector despite huge expenditure on the Mid-Day Meal scheme the objective of increasing enrolment in primary and upper primary schools could not be achieved and the drop-out increased. (Paragraph 4.1.8.2) Water supply schemes were not put to use as Gram Panchayats did not take them over. (Paragraph 4.1.8.3) The housing sector served by Indira Awas Yojana suffered due to non-completion of work.
