Gunner Arena RCEME action It was a hive of activity during the two-day RCEME hockey tournament held at Gunner Arena. There were 16 games played, with six teams in- volved. Besides the host Base Maintenance, other teams involved includ- ed 2PPCLI, 1RCHA, 17 Wing Winnipeg, Garrison Edmonton and BATUS from CFB Suffi eld. Besides game action, the tournament also featured a skills competition Friday night, not unlike what the NHL does for its all-star weekend. Here, action from Friday mid-morning games saw a penalty shot scored (above) in a game between 2PPCLI and 17 Wing Winnipeg. Gar- rison Edmonton (right) kept the BATUS goaltender busy, while its goalie (above right) had a puck defl ect off his shoulder over the net. Photos by Jules Xavier
