I was born in McComb Mississippi in October of 1947. My family migrated to Chicago when I was four years old. I was raised in Chicago’s inner city. The neighborhoods I grew up in were pretty tough even by Chicago standards but mine was a relatively happy childhood. I learned to fight early. Fighting was survival tool and physical aggression and mental toughness had to be learned early. I managed to learn both better than most. I had good eye hand coordination, speed balance and a well-honed killer instinct
