All guests must check-in first with Xtreme Xperience. During check-in guests sign two waivers 1 and provide a valid driver’s license to XX staff. Check-in time window is between 15 to 30 minutes. After checking-in with Xtreme Xperience guests are directed to the hosting company’s private meeting space. Depending on the racetrack the space will either be a garage, event center classroom, tower suite or hospitality tent. Each space comes with tables, chairs, linens, and 2 AV for any presentation needs. The majority of groups use the space for either a sit-down meal and/or presentation to their guests. 1 Hour is standard but that can be easily adjusted All guests who plan to drive must attend the driver’s briefing. It covers everything from adjusting your seat in a Ferrari to how to drive smoothly in turn 7. Briefing takes 20 to 25 minutes. Once the briefing is complete 3 guests will receive their driving credentials and head to pit lane. In pit lane guests will be given a head sock and directed to the line of the car they will be driving. Once at the front of the line the guest will be fitted with a helmet and directed to their SUPERCAR. Depending 4 on the group’s package, guests may drive multiple times. Track time ranges from ½ hour to 4 hours. The last stop of the day for guests is back at the check-in trailer. Here guests will receive their printed photo(s) and can view a USB 5 of their driving xperience. This will conclude the outing, unless more meeting time has been arranged in the private meeting space. Let your Group Xperience Manager know! • Visit us in New Orleans, LA: Xtreme Xperience offers our program year-round at NOLA Motorsports Park, just 30 minutes from the airport and the French Quarter. The 1.8-mile long racetrack consists of 12 turns, a blistering 3,200-ft straightaway, and a world-class 34,000-ft event center. (Days of operation: Thursday-Monday) • Choose Your Location (Nationwide): Got a location in mind? Xtreme Xperience can come to you! Pending availability of our fleet and your chosen location we can customize an event for your group’s needs. Side events typically start around $50,000. For more information regarding event locations, contact your Group Xperience Manager. How do I know which package is the best choice for my group? • Selection comes down to HOW MANY guests are in your group & HOW MANY Xperiences you would like each person to have. • The discounted group rate of $325/Xperience starts at the minimum 10 Xperience package. (ie. 5 guests with 2 Xperiences each or 10 guests with 1 Xperience each.) • To qualify for PRIVATE group packages requires a minimum buyout of 25 driving Xperiences. Private group packages are highly recommended for corporate groups seeking to WOW clients, ENGAGE prospects or REWARD team members. During private track time, we close the event to the general public and cater to you and your group exclusively. • Our most common packages are 25 Xperiences, 30 Xperiences, 50 Xperiences or our 60 Xperience package. My group needs meeting space and catering, is this available? • Short answers, YES! - While the majority of our chosen racetracks have meeting space and in-house catering available, each venue’s offerings vary. Please contact Xtreme Xperience for details. • Meeting space can be very limited and is available on a first-come-first-served basis. Prices range from $200 - $1000. Do I need to know how to operate a manual transmission to drive? • No! All Xtreme Xperience vehicles are equipped with semi-automatic transmissions. This means that they can simply be left in automatic mode or gears can be changed manually with paddle shifters. What about insurance? • Xtreme Xperience track insurance is mandatory for all public and private Xperiences. - This insurance covers the vehicles, racetrack, and possible injury for a single Xperience. • Insurance packages are personal preference and only the minimum package is required to drive. - $39 per Xperience includes: $20,000 coverage, $6,000 deductible. - $69 per Xperience includes: $85,000 coverage, $4,000 deductible. - $129 per Xperience includes: $125,000 coverage, $2,000 deductible. What about weather? • Xtreme Xperience is NOT a rain or shine event. We don’t operate in the rain in New Orleans. If Xtreme Xperiences deems the track conditions unsafe due to weather, we will make every attempt to reschedule your event that day or the next visit to that location. If Xtreme Xperience cannot reschedule and your event is canceled due to weather, we will refund the full amount. What do I need on the event day? • On-time arrival! • A valid driver’s license, must be 18 or older • Wear closed-toed shoes, no high heels or flip-flops.

In most cases, 'permanent' is synonymous with 'purpose-built'. However, some circuits were not purpose-built but actually started out as tempo- rary courses. Florida's Sebring International Raceway, for example, was originally a temporary airfield course, laid out over the runways of Hendricks Field. Likewise, Portland International Raceway in Oregon evolved from a street course. Both circuits are nowadays permanent facilities. The starting point for this list was the 2003 edition of Allan Brown's book "A History of America's Speedways: Past & Present". This is an indispensable reference work for which Allan cannot be praised enough. However, in the book the road courses are a bit buried between the vast number of ovals. Listing them separately gives a better overview. Also, I found the information in the book is not always accurate. It is an excellent basis for further research but the data should be treated with great care. I have done my best to present the most correct and accurate info in this file, although there may well be errors here and there. In general, there are three main types of American road courses. The most interesting are the 'pure' road courses which were built specifically for road racing.

In total, infrastructure jobs -- defined as supporting the nation's assets in energy, trade, transportation, public works and other sectors -- make up 11 percent of the U.S. workforce, more than previously thought, according to the report from The Brookings Institution. Over the next decade, infrastructure jobs will grow by more than 9 percent, the report said, and 2.7 million workers will be needed to fill open positions from turnover and aging workers retiring. Researchers with Brookings' Metropolitan Policy Program took stock of the nation's infrastructure jobs, defining 95 occupations in 42 industries from civil engineers and urban planners to river pilots and and petroleum pump operators, calling it the first report of its kind.

The Andretti Autosport driver had a 2.312-second advantage over the No. 2 Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing car driven by Patrick McKenna of Dublin, Ireland at the checkered. Both Karam and McKenna were in Mazda- powered Van Diemens. Tonis Kasemets of Mundelein, Ill., who won a similar race here Saturday, finished third Sunday in a Zetec-powered Van Diemen fielded by Pabst Racing Services. Karam stretched his advantage to 4 seconds by lap seven and was never threat - ened with his No. 8, which is sponsored by the Michael Fux Foundation, Comfort Revolution, Bell Helmets, Alpine Stars, Walters Web and artrotundo.com. The real story was the battle for second. McKenna started in that position only to lose it to Kasemets working lap two. McKenna, who is sponsored by Motor - sport Ireland and Willsborough Transport, was in hot pursuit in third place, how - ever, followed closely by Liberty Motorsportsʼ Matthew Powers of Danville, Calif.

    PRO PATH TO THE RUNOFFS Allows for a driver in the following classes to replace participation in one Majors weekend with an SCCA Pro Racing weekend in the corresponding class. Drivers must request this replacement through the Club Racing Department and pay the entry fee to a Majors event of their choice, to be collected and distributed by SCCA. GT1‐ TA GT2‐ TA2 or TA3 T1 ‐ TA3 or TA4 T2 ‐ TA4 FA ‐ F4 This replaces participation but not the Majors start requirement of 3 Majors race starts. PROCESS: The event cut‐off for 2017 Runoffs qualification is September 4th, 2017; Labor Day. o The final eligible 2017 Trans Am event takes place on August 26th at Road America. o The final eligible 2017 F4 event takes place on August 27 at Virginia International Raceway. By Thursday, August 31st, a driver using the PRO PATH TO THE RUNOFFS should email [email protected] to declare use of this path. Declaration must be received in writing. The entry fee for the selected U.S. Majors Tour event (schedule follows) is required before the declaration of this path is processed. A driver may include payment in the declaration email or call Claudine Stueve at (800) 770‐2055 ext. 335. The selected U.S. Majors Tour event must be one the driver would have attended if not using the PRO PATH. It cannot be an event they participated in in 2017. The driver must be pre‐entered in the 2017 SCCA Runoffs in one of the eligible Runoffs classes (listed above) and provide results showing their participation in the correlating Trans Am or F4 class.

Can Simon Pagenaud (right), who won the inaugural Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis in 2014, pick up his first win with Team Penske in defense of last year’s race win?     REmarks Chicago Region RE, Rick Bentson July 1, 2016 What a month June has been! The first 9 days of the month were the calm before the storm of events. Beginning June 10 things got real with 44 cars taking to the track at our PDX Track Day event at Autobahn Country Club. Yours truly served as Chief Steward, with an assist from George Laws so I could exit early to get some sleep before getting up at half-past-the- middle-of-the-night for the drive to Blackhawk Farms, timed to arrive in time for the morning Worker meeting to work corners for the Milwaukee/Blackhawk Valley regions Double Divisional race weekend. This would be weekend one of the June Triple Header of race weekends. Following the Blackhawk Farms weekend, the 61st running of the Chicago Region June Sprints at Road America greeted 308 entries with great weather (unlike last year, which featured 3 days of rain) and 3 days of very competitive racing, including 67 Spec Racer Fords! As an added bonus for the spectators in attendance the Battery Tender Mazda MX-5 Cup pro series was included on the weekend’s schedule, bringing an additional 42 cars and their own brand of great racing. As a Jack-of-all-Trades of sorts for the weekend I had the pleasure of being able to experience the many flavors of the June Sprints and I gotta tell ya, I couldn’t be more proud of the event we put on! From Registration, to Tech (with free soft-serve ice cream for drivers, crew and anyone else who stops by!), to the amazing job done by the combined Road America/SCCA crew in Race Control, to the best corner marshalling crew in the country (a bit of personal bias there, I admit, but I don’t think I’m wrong), to the best, and I mean the BEST podium ceremony in all of amateur racing.
