Thanks to the rains last month, the hills here are green and lush, and the vines are just beginning to bud. Spring is truly a special time in Santa Barbara Wine Country.

The theme of this newsletter is Specials & Discounts at ForFriends Inn. We don't usually devote much ink to talking about room rates preferring instead to focus on the overall value that we aim to provide to you with every visit. However, we like a deal as much as anyone else. Further, many of you have asked us to let you know about seasonal specials and other discounts. We are glad to do so here.

Also, wine country is more than an enjoyable getaway. It's a lifestyle where lasting memories are made. A great place to revisit your wine country memories is on our Instagram site where you will ﬁnd daily postings of the inn along with beautiful wine country landscapes and activities at local wineries and restaurants. Speaking of landscapes, once again our newsletter features wonderful shots of spring and summer from Tom Poss, one of our favorite wine country photographers.

Every room is just $239/nt + tax on Sundays thru Thursdays from now until May 24. That's up to $136/nt savings! Use promo code SPRING239 when booking.

Summer Weekday Special

Rooms are just $249, $259, $269, or $279/nt + tax on Sundays thru Thursdays from May 28 to Aug 30. Use promo code SUMMER when booking.

Group Discounts

We think ForFriends Inn is the perfect place for gatherings of close friends and families. In hopes that you'll consider ForFriends Inn for your next gathering, we are pleased to o!er the following group discounts:

5 rooms or fewer = 10% discount 6-7 rooms = 15% discount 8 rooms = 20% discount

The group discount is applied to each room on the reservation so that everyone beneﬁts. There are a few details to discuss and so it is best to give us a call at (805) 693-0303.

Updated Friendship Pass

Our famous Friendship Pass is now better than ever! With it, you'll still receive complimentary and 2-for-1 tastings at 40+ wineries along with complimentary appetizers or desserts at several local restaurants. Now however, the Pass has been redesigned to include a map of the area along with location indicators to help better guide you around the area.

And, we've added several new wineries to the Pass including Rideau Vineyard, Roark Wines, McKinney Family Vineyards, Solminer Wine Co, Buscador Wines, and BrickBarn Winery (opening April 21st).

OTA Rate Guarantee

Speaking of online travel agencies (OTAs), did you know that the lowest rates for ForFriends Inn can always be found by calling us directly instead of booking with an OTA? We appreciate the exposure Expedia, Booking, Hotel, Orbitz, Travelocity, HotelTonight, AirBnB, B&B, B&B Finder, and now even TripAdvisor have to o!er. However, we hate to see our guests paying their markup and service fees.

We guarantee that we'll beat the rate shown on any OTA for any of our rooms by 5% if you'll call us at (805) 693-0303 to book the same room on the same day. Plan to let us know the website and your travel dates so that we can conﬁrm the rate. Also, don't forget to include all additional fees such as resort fees, service fees, extra guest fees, and 'whatever-new-fee-we- can-come-up-with-this-week' fee.
