There is no argument that English, as the global language, is important everywhere. If you have to go to Korea for business, even if you don't know Korean at all, you don't have to worry about how to get to the meeting place; you can get a guide map in English. In most countries of the world it's the same. South Korea, my home country, has made many education policies to improve the English ability of its YOUNGCHI people.
