Sunken Gardens SUNKEN GARDENS Garden Etiquette • Reservations & Tours Donation Information • Volunteer Events Top 10 Plant List • Paving the Path Directory One Flower Forever Honorees 2017 Garden Etiquette For everyone’s enjoyment of this public garden please: • Stay on paths and lawn areas • Leash your dog, pick up and dispose of pet waste in receptacles • Do not feed the fish • Do not pick the flowers • No bicycles, skateboards or rollerblades • No swimming or wading • No smoking • Park Hours: 6:00a – 10:00p • Restroom Hours: 8:00a – 8:30p (available only from April 15-October 15) If you see something suspicious please call 402-441-6000. Your donations make it possible for visitors to enjoy the gardens every year without ever having to pay an admission fee. Donation boxes are located at the 27th & C Street and 26th & D Street entrances. You can honor special friends or family members, celebrate graduations or weddings or commemorate holidays by purchasing a Paving the Path brick in either of two sizes: 5 ½ “x 8” for $250 or 8” x 11” for $750. If the donor wishes, a letter will be sent to the honoree or honoree’s family indicating that a brick has been purchased in their honor. Improved tools and techniques for intraosseous vascular access have recently been developed, enabling the healthcare provider to choose from a wide range of devices and insertion sites. Despite its increasing popularity within the adult population, and decades of use in the paediatric population, questions remain regarding the safety and efficacy of intraosseous infusion. Although various potential complications of intraosseous cannulation have been theorized, few serious complications have been reported. This article aims to provide a review of the current literature on intraosseous vascular access, including discussion on the various intraosseous devices currently available in the market, the advantages and disadvantages of intraosseous access compared to conventional vascular access methods, complications of intraosseous cannulation and current recommendations on the use of this approach.
