Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) is an industry standard for a mobile audio/video interface that allows the connection of mobile phones, tablets, and other portable consumer electronics devices to high-definition televisions and audio receivers. Requirement: Both TV and Android Devices should be equipped MHL standard. Advantage: Can view on both Android and TV. MHL cable include of 3 connectors: USB, HDMI and Micro USB 1 Step 1: Plug the Micro USB (smallest connector) to the charging port of Android device. Step 2: Plug a HDMI connector to HDMI port (usually have sign MHL) on TV. Step 3: Plug the USB connector to a USB port on TV. 2 Step 4: Press Input or Source button on remote control of TV and choose the correct input source. Option 2: Android Devices connected TV (not support MHL standard yet, TV has only HDMI port) via Auxiliary (MHL-HDMI Adapter). Requirement: TV (not support MHL standard yet) has only HDMI port. Viewer need a MHL-HDMI Adapter to convert signal to HDMI. Connection diagram using MHL – HDMI Adapter: 3 Option 3: Android Devices connected TV by Screen Mirrorring feature. Requirement: Both TV and Android Devices should be equiped Screen Mirroing feature. Advantage: No need cable, no need auxiliary. Screen Mirroring feature allow to mirror content’s mobile/tablet to Viewer’s TV screen by some simple steps. Demo Devices: SONY XPERIA Z3 COMPACT and INTERNET TIVI LED SONY KDL- 42W700B. Step 1: Use remote control of TV, turn on Screen Mirroring feature of TV. Step 2: Access into Setup menu of Android Devices, choose Kết nối Xperia (Xperia Connection), then Screen Mirroring. Cons: Complicated, Chromecast device and iOS/Android device or Laptop need to connect to the same Wifi source. Loading speed depends on speed and stability of Wifi Source and Chromecast device. 6 The two versions of Chromecast devices by Google Connection model among devices using the same Wifi source. Step 1: Plug one end of the device into the HDMI port, the other end plugged into the USB port on the TV 7 Step 2: TV screen will display a message “Set me up” to connect with ChromeCast. You need to go to www.chromecast.com/setup or look for the Google Home application (formerly Chromecast) on the CH Play / Apps Store. Step 3: Once you've downloaded your Chromecast to your iOS / Android / Laptop device, start it and wait for the app to search your Chromecast device. Select Continue. Check the PIN code (in the example is J2K5) on the TV screen that matches the code on the control device. If it matches, select That's my code. 8 Step 4: ChromeCast will ask for credentials and Wi-Fi passwords for connected devices. Select Continue. Step 5: Your screen will show the message “Sweet! You're ready to cast” which means you're successfully connected with ChromeCast. The device screen and the TV notification display are ready to receive signals from Android devices. 9 Chromecast icon on phone and Google Chrome 10 Option 5: iOS Devices connected to TV via Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter. Requirement: Viewer should use iphone 5/6/7 & Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter. Step 1. Plug your adapter into the charging port on the bottom of your iOS device. Step 2. Plug an HDMI cable to adapter and other to HDMI port on TV. Step 3. Choose input signal by press SOURCE or INPUT button on remote control của TV. 11 Option 6: iOS Devices connectd Apple TV by Airplay Mirroring feature. Requirement: Users should own an Apple TV and iPad or iPhone 5/6/7 of iOS 10 or higher version. Step 1: Turn on AirPlay feature on Apple TV. Step 2: Turn on AirPlay Mirroring on iphone/ipad to scan Apple TV available. Choose Apple TV that viewer want to connect. 12 Option 7: Laptop connected to TV via HDMI cable. Requirement: Laptop and TV with HDMI port, HDMI cable. Advantage: Easy and stable. Step 1: Plug a HDMI connector to HDMI port on laptop. Plug the other to HDMI port on TV. Step 2: Press the Source or Input button on remote control of TV to choose right input source. 13 Step 3: if TV Screen don’t display content as Laptop screen. Press Windows + P buttons, choose Duplicate to connect. Step 4: After connect successfully, all contents on Laptop screen will appear on TV Screen. 14 Option 8: Laptop connected to Projector via HDMI or VGA cable. Viewer can connect Laptop or PC to Projector by HDMI or VGA Cable. Then choose the right input source for Projector to all content from Laptop screen appear on Display of Projector. 15 .
