Private Music Instruction Private lessons offer students one-on-one time to explore an instrument with a professional instructor. SCA instructors are skilled at understanding a student’s individual needs and aspirations. The instructor and student work for a common goal, to play the solo, get the part, or be better prepared to play in the band, orchestra, or sing in the choir. Lessons are available for piano, voice, woodwinds, guitar, and string instruments. All of SCA’s instructors hold degree-level certification on their instruments and are accomplished performers. Instruction is offered in 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons. SCA offers high quality music education. To help keep tuition affordable for your family, payment plans are available upon request. www.solonohio.org 42 The Solon Community is invited to join the Solon Police Department in participating in National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 5 - 9 p.m. Our seventh annual NNO event will take place in the Solon Senior Center parking lot and ballrooms of the Community Center. The Solon Police Department and our community partners will participate in this event that will take place on the same night throughout the country.

Solon PD’s Night Out is a crime prevention and safety fair that will feature police officers, equipment, vehicles, a Police K-9 Unit demonstration at 5:30 p.m., and crime prevention themed organizations. There will also be food, activities, and games to keep children entertained. By creating an open environment, police officers hope to engage adults, parents, and their children to promote crime prevention and general safety. Watch our social media and solonpolice.org for updates.
