How to Install and Setup Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Development on Windows.
For downloading and installing Eclipse you need four things : 1) JAVA JDK. 2) JAVA JRE(Java Run Time Environment). 3) Eclipse IDE 4) Toolchain (For ARM)
1. For downloading JAVA JDK use this link: https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html
2. For downloading JRE use this link : https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8- downloads-2133155.html
3. For downloading Eclipse IDE use this link: https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/oomph/epp/2019-06/R/eclipse-inst- win64.exe
4. For downloading Toolchain use this link: https://developer.arm.com/tools-and-software/open-source-software/developer-tools/gnu- toolchain/gnu-rm/downloads 5. After installing the tool chain , make sure that all the fields given below are selected. Do not forget to select Add path to environment variable.
Installing ARM plug-in : Note : It is recommended that you install the plug-ins after installing the ARM toolchain.
