Prior to being hired, she received her degree at Elizabeth City State University in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. While in school she founded the Community Relations Committee, an organization dedicated to community outreach through service and sustainability. Ms. Cannon expanded her environmentalism work by partnering with Green For All as a college ambassador and the United Negro College Fund-Building Green. Cassidy believes that all HBCU’s and MSI’s have a vested interest in the sustainability world as it is the newest portal for university opportunity and student income.

VERNA FOWLER, of Menominee and Stockbridge-Munsee heritage, is an enrolled member of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin.
