CAPITOL THEATRE PRESENTS THE EXPERIENCE

A DIGITAL STREAMING EVENT JANUARY 28-30

FLINT, Mich. – The Capitol Theatre is proud to announce another digital streaming event for the community: The Electric Light Orchestra Experience: 50th Anniversary. This event will run January 28 through January 30. Cost is a “pay-what-you-wish” format, and proceeds support The Capitol Theatre. Streaming is available for purchase January 28 through January 30 online at CapitolTheatreFlint.com.

The arrangements, musicianship and vocals of the 12 ELO musicians, whose credits include an exhaustive list of the biggest names in the music industry, are the hallmarks of this new, first- class, 50th anniversary tribute to The Electric Light Orchestra. ELO's fusion of Beatle-esque pop with classical arrangements helped the group achieve significant commercial success, generating numerous instantly recognizable, chart-topping hits and album sales in excess of $50,000,000. Their hits include Evil Woman, Don’t Bring Me Down, , , Mr. Blue Sky and , among many others.

The show will be approximately an hour long.

“Since people can’t come to the theatre, we’ll take the theatre to them,” said Rodney Lontine, Flint Institute of Music CEO. “Our team is working hard to find entertaining ways to stay connected to our patrons. We appreciate the community’s support.”
