He and his wife, Lisa Pevaroff Cohn, were founding advisory board members of the NYU Child Study Center and also funded the Pevaroff Cohn Professorship in Child and adolescent Psychiatry at the NYU School of Medicine in 1999. He has also been a member of the NYU Langone Medical Center’s Board of trustees since 2000. the couple reside with their three daughters in Manhattan. Hospital for Joint diseases, founded in 1905, is one of five specialty hospitals in the world devoted to musculoskeletal care. affiliated since 1994 with NYU Langone Medical Center, it was fully merged into the Medical Center in 2006.
