• Teams from the have won 10 of the last 15 NCAA Championships and 19 NCAA titles all-time. Three different SEC teams - Alabama, Florida and Georgia - have won NCAA Gym- nastics Championships.

• Since the inaugural NCAA Championship in 1982, the SEC has placed at least one team in all 38 na- tional championship meets. Alabama and Florida have appeared in 36 of the possible 38 NCAA Cham- pionships events.

• 2019 saw a new format to the NCAA Championships, with eight teams advancing to the semifinals. Georgia and LSU were among those teams, with the Tigers becoming the National Runner-Up for the third time in four years.

• The SEC also had 12 individual competitors compete during the two semifinals last season. Four student- athletes won individual event titles, increasing the all-time total of individual titles to 116. SEC student- athletes have swept all five individual titles on five separate occasions (1991, 1993, 1994, 2009 and 2012). An SEC student-athlete has captured the All-Around title in 12 out of the past 16 years at the NCAA Championships.

• SEC student-athletes earned seven first-team and 11 second-team All-America honors in 2019.

• In 2018, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky and LSU were six of the 12 teams that com- peted at the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships. This marked the first time in conference history that six programs from the Southeastern Conference competed at the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Cham- pionships.

• 2018 marked the 26th and final year of the Super Six format. Overall, the SEC made the Super Six Team Finals 70 times, making up 45 percent of the field all-time.
