Averaging 8.6 PPG, 9.1 RPG, and 3.2 BPG. ● Sierra Calleson - 5’8” Senior guard averaging 10.1 PPG and shooting 40% from behind the arc. ● Moira McCarthy - 5’9” Junior guard averaging 7.6 PPG, 3.2 APG, and 5.3 RPG. Coach’s Outlook: “Traditionally, we are a top program in northeast Florida and known throughout Florida for four final four appearances and nine district titles in the twenty years that the school has been open. Bartram Trail lost many starters from last year’s final four team. They are working hard on finding themselves and a style that will best suit them with very little varsity experience. They have one of the toughest schedules in Florida and will be battle tested once the playoffs begin.” Number Name Grade 1 Tia Singleton SR 5 Zohra Jerome JR 12 Hannah Klein JR 13 Hannah Marzi SR 15 Moira McCarthy JR 21 Sierra Calleson SR 22 Dyllan Hanna SO 23 Aja Pollard FR 24 Emily Andres FR 31 Dana Art JR 32 Veronica Reilly JR 55 Haley Provencal JR Belfry (KY) Current Team Record: 0-0 Coach: Kevin Deskins 2018-2019 Record: 19-12 Returning Letterman: 7 Players to Watch: ● Katie Ball - 6’2” combo forward who is very skilled offensively. Fletcher is very smooth with the ball, long, and athletic. Fletcher has a very high basketball IQ, understands spacing and motion. Her senior season expects to be a break out. Coach’s Outlook: “ This is my 10th year coaching at Belfry and this is perhaps my most complete team. Although we have to develop depth within our roster, we have the pieces to be very good this year. This team understands the process of developing, working hard everyday to improve themselves and each other. My assistants and myself have invested several years trying to completely rebuild a once really good program and we are finally to the point of seeing the payoff with this group. PUBLICATION: ESPN Insider DATE: 10/1/15 Atlanta Hawks: 2015-16 player profiles By Tom Haberstroh Here are our 2015-16 player scouting reports and analysis for the Atlanta Hawks . Projected starters Jeff Teague Position: Guard Experience: 6 years 2014-15 stats Scouting report + Quick pick-and-roll point guard who thrives in space + Elite foul shooter and floater but turnover-prone on breaks + Great hands but nothing special defensively Analysis It seems like yesterday Teague couldn't get off the bench behind Mike Bibby and Jamal Crawford in Atlanta, but Teague earned an All-Star bid after helping the Hawks to a franchise-record 60 wins last season. Teague raised his assist percentage and notched a career high in true shooting percentages by turning his iffy jump shot into a real weapon off the dribble. Teague is a pick-and-roll specialist who can slice into the lane at will. Among the 27 ball handlers with at least 300 pick-and-roll plays, Teague ranked seventh in efficiency, per Synergy Sports. Because he's not a tall point guard, Teague has mastered the floater in the lane to carve out an equalizer, and he has gotten much better at drawing contact. With vision, quickness and body control, Teague is a modern point guard for a progressive offense. He needs to continue to develop his jump shot if he wants to ascend into the top tier of point guards. Currently, he occupies a space below Stephen Curry and Chris Paul . At $8 million per year for the next two seasons, he's a steal for the Hawks.

2017 BOYS GymRat CHALLENGE POST-EVENT REPORT 17U Age Division Report 16U Age Division Report 15U Age Division Report 14U Age Division Report 13U Age Division Report 12U Age Division Report By STEVE AMEDIO GymRat CHALLENGE Director of Communications [email protected] SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY-If one thing has become certain over the two decades of the GymRat CHALLENGE, it's that it takes a lot more than just having a team of individual standouts to win a championship at the storied event. It does take a combination of will and skill, but more importantly is team play and defense, two aspects of the game not always associated with the sport on the AAU level. But, that so-called dirty work on the defensive end, along with an often-difficult to accomplish team chemistry on offense once again proved to be the winning formula for most of the teams in the 20th edition of the prestigious event held in New York's Capital Region over Memorial Day Weekend. No one said it better that Pat McGlynn, coach of the Gold Bracket title at the 17-under age division. "We've got 10 hillbillies who all know what counts in events like this," said McGlynn. "These kids all came here just to play basketball." PAGE | 1 And so they did, and they did it well. The York Ballers were particularly proficient on the defensive end, limiting its three opponents to a tournament-low 70 total points in their three pool-round games and not many more in the championship round. Platinum Bracket champion at the 17-under division, the New York Havoc squad, similarly played a team-first style to find their stride and capture a title.
