EXPLORE NYC! Assignment for Tuesday, February 25 Read the directions all the way through. Then look at all the possibilities! New Students: If you joined Urban in January, bring in your Library Project at 9:00 Tuesday. Meet in the Mini-Theater. You don’t need this page now. If you joined Urban in February, meet in the Mini-Theater (on the first floor) at 9:30 Tuesday. You don’t need this page now. Old Students: VISIT at least TWO SITES, POST your SELFIES with CAPTIONS The galleries are free and open to the public. (They are more like stores in that way). The museums may ask for a school ID. While you are inside the museum/gallery, take an interesting and appropriate selfie (be creative!) to send to us. Post your selfies with captions BY 4 PM Tuesday. 1. Send your selfie to POSTYOURSELFIE2020@gmail.com. Having trouble? Text your pictures to Becky at (917) 832-3672 or Adam at (917) 648-6868. 2. You must write a caption that includes: a. Which site or museum b. Name of the artist c. What was particularly interesting or remarkable If you have problems or questions, call us at 212.570.5284 If you are a senior who has not yet qualified to be a “final semester senior,” you should do as much as you can do independently on Monday and email it to the appropriate teacher. Students cannot stay in the school while teachers are doing registration. If you are looking for a place to do work, the library across the street is open from 11 to 7 Monday and Tuesday. Other libraries are open as well.
