[email protected] Abstract The purpose of this research is to analyse the aspects reported by students in four case studies where geographical processes were determined by logging in Valea Ierii Commune, Cluj County. Research involved students who participated in a practical field activity and students who studied the cases only from photographs, answering questions concerned with: identifying causes, conditions and effects; estimating dimensions of environmental components; proposing measures and making predictions.
