OVERVIEW CHAPTER FOUNDED 1971 e Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest and most selective honor society for all academic disciplines. e organization inducts approximately 30,000 CHAPTER WEBSITE students, faculty, professional sta , and alumni annually from more than 300 select eku.orgsync.com/org/phikappaphi colleges and universities in North America and the Philippines. Membership is by invitation only to the top 10 percent of seniors and graduate students and 7.5 percent of SOCIETY FOUNDED juniors. Faculty, professional sta , and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction 1897, University of Maine also qualify. Since its founding, more than 1.5 million members have been initiated into the ranks of Phi Kappa Phi.
