On Thursday 2 November, All Souls Day, THE LYING IN STATE the Holy Communion will be sung in memory of the Lord Archbishop At noon on the day before the Funeral the body of the Lord Archbishop will be received, by the Dean and Chapter and the Choir at the West at 11 o'clock Door of the Nave and be brought into the Chapel of Our Lady Undercroft. There it will lie in State before the Altar. At 8 o'clock in the morning of the day of the Funeral the Holy Communion will be celebrated in the Chapel of Our Lady Undercroft. /I; *00% Ak fame (day f&e gawre set before the High Altar. BEFORE THE SERVICE Ticket-holders shall enter the Cathedral by the South Door, and be admitted by the West Door of the Quire to their places, not later than 1 o'clock. The Six Preachers, the Honorary Canons and the Diocesan Clergy, shall robe in the Crypt. The Six Preachers and the Honorary Canons shall go privately to their appointed places not later than 1 o'clock. At 1.10 the Diocesan Clergy shall be conducted to their places, by way of the North Door of the Crypt, the North Transept Door, and the North Door of the Quire. At 1.20 the Late Archbishop's Chaplains shall be conducted from St. Andrew's Chapel through the North Door of the Quire to their places outside the Sanctuary rail. At 1.25 the Provincial Officers (the Bishop of Rochester, the Bishop of Worcester, the Bishop of Salisbury, the Bishop of Winchester, and the Bishop of London) shall be conducted to their places on the South side of the High Altar; and Archbishop Lord Lang of Lambeth and the Archbishop of York to their places on the North side of the High Altar. 2 3 THE ORDER OF SERVICE Then the Choir shall sing these Psalms, repeating the Anthem before and after the Psalms. At 1.30 the Procession shall go from St. Andrew's Chapel by the North Quire Aisle and enter by the West Door of the Quire;, the Choir going to their accustomed places, and the Clergy to the steps before the High Altar, within the Sanctuary.
