Nella prima tappa del principale circuito mondiale, il World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold, l’azzurra affronta a viso aperto le quotate rivali, molte delle quali la attendono nella rassegna continentale in Polonia tra poco più di un mese, e termina la sua prova a tre centesimi dal primato personale di 8″02 realizzato lo scorso anno sempre a Karlsruhe. Il successo è della finlandese Nooralotta Neziri che in 7″92 centra il record nazionale e beffa la nigeriana quarta a Doha nei 100 ostacoli Tobi Amusan (7″94) e la campionessa europea indoor in carica, l’olandese Nadine Visser (7″96). Davanti a Bogliolo anche la bielorussa oro europeo dei 100 ostacoli Elvira Herman (7″99), ma l’azzurra tiene a bada Il Vostro Giornale - 1 / 2 - 29.09.2021 2 altre avversarie di prestigio come la finlandese Reetta Hurske (8″08) e la bielorussa pluricampionessa europea Alina Talay (8″09) oltre alla ventenne francese Cyrena Samba- Mayela (8″31). “Sono contenta per questo inizio di stagione – commenta a caldo la 25enne ligure -. Un 8″05 alla prima uscita mi lascia buone sensazioni, soprattutto perché penso di aver fatto bene nell’ultima parte di gara, migliore rispetto ai primi due ostacoli, diversamente dalla batteria nella quale penso di essere partita meglio. Come prima uscita va benissimo e non vedo l’ora di entrare sempre più in gara, già a partire da sabato 6 febbraio a Metz”. Già in batteria, per tutti i cinque ostacoli sul rettilineo tedesco, l’alassina era stata praticamente appaiata alle più forti, salvo perdere qualcosa negli appoggi finali, chiudendo il primo turno alle spalle di Amusan (8″01), di Herman (8″02) e di Hurske (8″04). I riscontri migliori del round iniziale erano stati quelli di Visser, nell’altra batteria, già sotto gli otto secondi con 7″98, davanti a Samba-Mayela (8″00), a Neziri (8″01) e a Talay (8″02).
