Ans:- Rs. 75000 crore Explanation:- The Union Minister Piyush Goyal announced various schemes in the Interim Union Budget 2019-20 on February 1, 2019. Government announced fixed yearly income for small and marginal farmers under Pradhanmantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna. This scheme will benefit about 12 crore farmers who have 2 Hectare land. Rupee 6000 per year direct cash transfer in their account. Cash transfer will be given in three equal installments of Rs 2000 each. The benefit under this yojna will be given retrospectively from December 2018. Rs. 75000 crore allotted for this scheme. It is expected to double the farmers income. 3)How many banks have been allowed to exit the PCA framework? Ans:- 3 Explanation:- Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra and Oriental Bank of Commerce have been allowed to exit the PCA framework fully. The three lenders were part of 11 government-owned banks put under the framework in 2017 and 2018. In December, the government had announced a capital infusion of Rs 10,000 crore for Bank of India, Rs 5,500 crore for Oriental Bank of Commerce and Rs 4,500 crore for Bank of Maharashtra, which helped the banks coming out of the framework. The RBI's decision to impose lending restrictions on these banks had become a flashpoint between the regulator and the government, which wanted the lending capacity to be freed up. 4) Who among the following was appointed as a member of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), recently? It has helped in increasing the productivity and reduced the cost of production. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had inaugurated the scheme on February 19, 2015, in Suratgarh, Rajasthan.     History of Nunawading Cricket Club Nunawading, What’s in a name To get a wider understanding of how the Club started and, in fact, how the BHRDCA started it is worth spending a while discussing the history of the Nunawading and Box Hill districts. There is a strong correlation between the ‘parishes’ of Nunawading, in particular, and Box Hill and the longer serving BHRDCA teams, Nunawading included. Over the next few paragraphs, I will provide a brief history of how Nunawading, formerly Tunstall, came to be and it’s progress from a rural bushland into the busy middle class suburb it has been since the war. The First people of Nunawading When white men first arrived in Victoria, in 1835 the indigenous Aboriginal community was displaced and had to move from traditional grounds, being occupied by Europeans, to displaced locations. When this displacement occurred to the aborigines in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, or perhaps to continue the old, traditional ways, Melbourne’s aborigines, who formed tribes all over the countryside, met in community places and would declare the fundamentals of the unity that existed between them. Following this show of unity more business like matters like common interests and disputes were discussed. One of these meeting places was in Melbourne’s East in a place thought to have been called Numpha-wading by the local aborigines and called Nunawading by the new European settlers, keen to preserve the indigenous names. The popular translation for this word is ‘ceremonial ground’. The boundaries of the native Nunawading were unclear, even to the aborigines and the parish of Nunawading was hilly and heavily timbered and covered a large area.
