'Ihe lightly lcaded loop gives another bus in selectivity It's so selective that you have to retune every 10k when looking for weak ones. Adjacent (10k) channel rejection is about 25db at 600k & lOdb at 3600. Noise figure is also very low for the cource follower config. as there is near 1m neg. feedback and neg feedback in an amp reduces its NF. I Used HEP F2 07s with gates tied together wfiKch are cheap, available and don't overlaid. Best RX I've tried so far is a Stasrt tkrrner mde R-~WA, which gives you a cjoice of four mech filters. Ihe A model has much improved deep- skirt selectivity over the $-390 but comprxable atherwise. I've measured the AM sensitivity on BCB & it's very unifom across the tand at 0.3-0.4 microvolts.
