HAVE HAVE YOU HEARD THE MUSIC ? THE SYNOPSIS Imagine a world with no inconsistencies or imperfections. Where timeliness plus efficiency equals productiveness, and everything is in working order. Now imagine a world with no music... Foster, a citizen of Extropia, is like any other... his teeth are hard. His tongue is pink— but not too pink. He has the right amount of body hair. But something is very wrong. Foster is in a state. He can hear "too well".... Sam wrote, produced and starred in +1, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year. In high school he attended Interlochen Arts Academy. He has been acting professionally in theater, film and television since he was 9 years old. ARIAL :: ALEXANDRA_FULTON Alexandra Fulton has worked worldwide as an actress & performer. She produced & starred in +1 and directed and starred in Omgasm, both of which premiered at The Cannes Film Festival SFC. Film and TV credits include Chicago Eight starring Phillip Baker Hall, Slightly Single in LA, The Game, and Strong Medicine. She graduated from The A.R.T. at Harvard University with a M.F.A.. SARAH :: SARA_ARRINGTON Sara Arrington is an LA theater veteran having produced and starred in the critically acclaimed 5 Women Wearing The Same Dress, which enjoyed an extended run at the Hudson Theater. Various film and television roles include SWAT, Cold Case, The Shield, Grand Theft Persons and the upcoming feature film, Faster, starring Duane Johnson and Billy Bob Thorton. THOMAS :: DAVID_FORSETH David has performed in Miami, Milan, Athens, New York City, and Los Angeles. His comedy act can be seen regularly at The Improv, The Comedy Store, and The Ice House. He co-wrote and starred in Hollylube which premiered at The Slamdance Film Festival. David is currently starring in the webisode series Pirate, Ninja, Adventure, Go! SMITH :: BRENDAN_WAYNE Brendan Wayne has a career that has been highlighted in such film and television roles as Home of the Brave, with Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Beil, Fast and Furious 4 with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, Angel and the Badman, a remake of his grandfather, John Wayne’s original film made in 1947, and The Closer with Kyra Sedgwick and directed by Kevin Bacon. He is currently in production on a new western feature called Legend of Hells Gate, set to shoot this fall. SHANNON_ZELLER :: BLEAK Shannon Zeller got her start starring alongside Angelica Huston, Liam Neeson and Peirce Brosnan in Seraphim Falls. She recently starred in the spirit award winning Shoot First and Pray you LIve, at the Santa Fe Film Festival and +1 which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Shannon grew up on the Southern Mexican coast. KEITH_ROENKE :: CITIZEN Keith Roenke studied film and theatre at Keene State College in New Hampshire before moving to Los Angeles. He has worked in over a half dozen features, including Tim Burton's Alice & Wonderland, along with a handful of notable performances in Short films, along with D'Agostino, which films in London and Greece this Fall. Keith played drums for "The Drugstore Cowgirls" for over 5 years and is the lead vocalist and guitar player for the L.A. based band "The Naked" which is releasing it's first full length album this year. ABBY WAKE :: CITIZEN Since she moved to Los Angeles in 2006 when she was 18 she has been dedicating to her craft and worked alongside many beautiful and talented actors. She has been in productions such as Diary of A Catholic School Dropout, Broke, and Broken Words, as well as the short film War Stories. Abby has directed and produced and is planting her seed for tv and film SARAH MCCARRON :: CITIZEN Sarah has created and performed in original shows all over the world, from the Bebersee Musik Festival in Germany to Pig Iron Theatre Company in Philadelphia. Most recently, as a resident artist in Philadelphia, she was awarded three grants to write, produce, and star in Owning Up to the Corn, a new play about Appalachia at the turn of the last century. She has worked with directors Bill Duke, M. Night Shyamalan, and Robert Masciantonio. Her latest film, Neighbor starring Christian Campbell and America Olivo just screened at the Fantasia Film Fest in Montreal, and is currently rocking the festival circuit. SHARON_FERGUSON :: LADY X Jamaican born Sharon Ferguson enjoys a career that is as varied as are her talents. A rare and true triple threat, she is an accomplished dancer, singer, and actress. For the past ten years, she has appeared in films, T.V. shows, commercials, music videos, and live stage performances. These theatrical talents along with her background as an athlete, (dance, gymnastics, and track) make her a unique performer on and off stage. THE CREW WRITER :: COLLABORATOR Collaborator, a Seattle based ensemble theater company, created and performed work from 2001-2004. Founded by performance artists Gabriel Baron, Brant Campbell, Michael McQuilken, Troy Miszklevitz and Rhonda J. Soikowski, the company's mission was to include voices of artists from many backgrounds in the creation of original theater. The company wrote, produced, and performed two full length theater pieces including Extropia: a musical in a world without music and the non-verbal clown piece, Paper Airplane. COMPOSER/MUSIC DIRECTOR :: MARK_SPARLING Mark has been involved in music for over 30 years. Early piano and guitar studies led to a love of drums and percussion. A highly decorated classical percussionist and Jazz drummer, he pursued his music, composition and songwriting aspirations at Berklee College of Music in Boston graduating with honors with a major in Film Composition. Mark is the drummer for Venice based rock group, Nu Savant, who are about to release their first full-length album and are regular performers The Viper Room, The Troubadour and The Whisky. Mark has scored several short films since arriving in Los Angeles including Adam for Eve directed by Mark Wales, a featured selection of the 2009 Palm Springs Film Festival. Mark is currently scoring an upcoming film adaptation of the Broadway musical, Godspell. Mark would like to extend a huge thank you to Miho for being the most inspirational person he’s ever met and to his brother, Dave, for being one of the most supportive, nurturing people on the planet! COMPOSER/ASSISTANT MUSIC DIRECTOR/PIANO :: MIHO_KAJIWARA Miho was born and raised in Osaka, Japan where she began her child prodigy study of piano at the age of four. She completed the Master Course Bachelor Degree of Music at the famous Osaka College of Music. She has many concert performances to her credit, most notably a high-profile performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 C minor with the Osaka Yao Philharmonic Orchestra. Miho is an active piano teacher and plays regularly for many ballet and jazz dance studios in the Los Angeles area. Miho would like to thank Mark Sparling and her parents in Osaka, Japan. Serving Sizes SAXOPHONE :: STEVE_HORIST Steve currently writes and arranges big band & combo charts for Cal State University Northridge and Fullerton College, and has received more than $8,000 in scholarship money for his contributions to the art of music. He has recorded and worked with such artists as Norwood Fisher, Ben Wendel, Bobby Shew, Kim Richmond, GRAMMY-winner Vince Mendoza & Bruce Babad. He has opened the 2008 NAMM Show, been featured at the Long Beach & Fullerton Jazz Festivals, performed on Telemundo's Buenos Noches & has been a part of the Stan Kenton All-Star Neophonic Jazz Orchestra. STAGE DIRECTOR :: KELLEIA_SHEERIN Kelleia has a professional career spanning 24 years. As a dancer & an actor she works with some of our greatest artists - from Milos Forman to The Coen Brothers, Jeff Bridges to Robin Williams. Some film credits include: Nine, Dreamgirls, The Big Lebowski, Man On The Moon and as ‘Terpsichore’ in Disney’s Hercules. On Broadway, Kelleia originated the role of ‘Billy Veruka Wynette’ in Urban Cowboy. On the tele, she was featured as ‘HoopTease’ on Dancing with the Stars. She performs with the professional cabaret groups Cherry Boom Boom and Harlow Gold. She has a B.A. in Italian from UCLA, is the proudest Auntie of 6 & lives to learn the Tango. To all the people who supported, donated & cheered us on… Thank You!! And a serious soul rendering thanks to the cast and crew. MULTIMEDIA DIRECTOR:: ADRIAN_SELKOWITZ An award-winning indie-filmmaker with a degree in cinematography and directing from NYU, Adrian directed +1 which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year as well as Sex, Drugs, Guns which is touring the film festival circuit currently. Adrian is in development on his second feature film, a story of an American youth set in his home state of Pennsylvania. CHOREOGRAPHER :: KATIE_MILLER Katie has performed all over the globe on tv, commercials, award shows, theater, and film. A few of the artists include Liza Minelli, eline Dion, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Courtney Love, Prince and Latin superstar, Chayanne. She has worked on such movies as Walk Hard, Fired Up and Year One.
