Our weekly series on Children’s Liturgy has lesson plans and activity suggestions for use with young people who are on the path to Christ Each week, Catechists will find readings and Psalm responses, complemented by prayer, reflection, FAITH discussion questions, and activities. Please feel free to use them as you wish The lessons are created by Adorer-theologians using the lens of the spirituality of St Maria de Mattias, which also embraces precious blood spirituality FIRST While this is the starting point for the lessons, readers are invited to approach them however the spirit moves you The Church is concerned with the availability and understanding of scripture for children who have their rightful place in the Church. SPOTLIGHT ON

Supporters and friends of St Margaret of Scotland Hospice gathered along Great Western Road as they took part in the Clydebank institution’s annual Ladies Midnight Walk. Taking place in the dark of night the participants nevertheless brought plenty of colour to the route—which saw them covering 5kms in total—with groups of friends and relatives of those who have received care from the hospice joining other supporters as hundreds of ladies took part. The event has become a favourite of hospice supporters and play an important part in raising the vital funds which make the ongoing work of St Margaret of Scotland Hospice—now celebrating its 65th year in operation— among the ill and elderly possible. Before the walk the ladies were given a keep-fit lesson by a fitness instructor at the departure point, while DJ Steve McKennna kept the participants entertained. Following the walk a barbecue was held with refreshments for those who had made their way round the route
