ORDER:

In the Government Order fourth read above, the Government issued notification under section 4 (1) of Land Acquisition Act for the acquisition of 2 Grounds 0663 sq. ft. (or) 5463 Sq. Ft. lands in Survey Nos.5/2 and 6/3 etc., at , Purasawalkam-, Siruvallur Village.

2. Now. the Draft Declaration Notification under Section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, under urgency clause submitted by the District Collector, Chennai in her letter second read above and recommended by the Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Land Administration in his letter third read above for acquisition of 2 Ground 0663 sq. ft. (or) 5463 Sq. Ft. lands in Survey Nos.5/2 and 6/3 etc., at Chennai District, Purasawalkam-Perambur Taluk, Siruvallur village for the construction of over bridge near Perambur Railway Station, Chennai District are approved and will be published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette (Extra-Ordinary) and in two daily news papers (Tamil & English) having vide circulation in Chennai District.

3. The Works Manager, Government Central Press, Chennai is requested to publish the Declaration Notification appended to this order in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette extra ordinary and he is requested to furnish 25 copies of the Gazette containing the Notification to the Government in Municipal Administration and Water Supply (MC 1) Department.

4. Four copies of the Notification in Tamil and English are forwarded to the Director of Information and Public Relations, Chennai-9. He is requested to arrange for its publication in two daily Newspapers in Tamil and English having wide circulation in the Chennai District after the date of publication in the Gazette. The bill of cost for publication of the Notifications in dailies may be sent to Collector, Chennai District for settlement.

5. The Collector, Chennai District is requested to instruct the Land Acquisition Officer to cause the publication of the substance of the Declaration at convenient places in the Chennai District and also intimate to the Government by fax the last of the dates of such publication so as to enable the Government to approve the directions, Notifications for publication in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.

DECLARATION UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE LAND ACQUISITION ACT 1894

The having been satisfied that the lands specified in the Schedule below have to be acquired for a public purpose, and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands is to be paid out of funds provided by the Corporation of Chennai, the following declaration is issued under section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894 (Central Act I of 1894)

DECLARATION

Under Section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894) the Government of Tamilnadu hereby declares that the land specified in the Schedule below and measuring 2 Grounds 0663 Sq.ft. by the same a little more or less are needed for public purpose to wit, for the construction of Overbridge near Perambur Railway Station by Corporation of Chennai Under sub-section (2) of section 17 of the said Act, the Governor of Tamilnadu further directs that the possession of the said lands may be taken on the expiry of 15 days from the date of publication of the notice mentioned in section 9(1) of the Act. A Plan of lands is kept in the office of the Tahsildar Purasawalkam-Perambur Taluk and may be inspected at any time during office hours.
