MLK Comfort Bags By: Kaitlyn Corcoran, 2nd grade, Mrs. Barton Indian On January 17, 2020 middle schoolers from Springton Lake Middle School came to Indian Lane to help us fill our comfort bags. It was for MLK day. We filled our bags with Lane games, mints, candy, journals, pens and chap-stick! The bags were donated to people undergoing treatment for cancer. We decorated the bags with happy pictures and colors! Our school’s kindness helped over 500 people! It was so so so much fun and I can’t wait INK to do it again next year!!! Several other students cheered us on. We were the Bocce Brielle Mahoney, Sara Maksimoska, Leo Ballers! We practiced every Thursday for six weeks after school leading up to the game. Manno, Alec Massey, Dean Massey, Naomi My partner was Rosie, she was really good at Bocce, as were all the students. We learned a lot and had fun together. Jokes By: Mena Barlow, 4th Grade, Ms. Cancelosi By: Kaitlyn Moyer, Girls On The Run is amazing. If you signed up you are in for a treat. Girls On The Run is a 5th Grade, Mrs. Speir running club for girls who love to run! You learn ways to control your mind but with exercise involved. I was in it last year and this year. You will run in the gym and on the track. A fun Knock, knock? fact is if you run 14 laps around the gym that is about a mile. You will learn to pace yourself. WHO’S THERE? Pace means to control your speed that you run. And at the end of the year you run a 5k that is Ding dong. about 3 miles. And if you did not sign up this year you can sign up next year! It meets 2 times Ding dong who? a week and you get a t-shirt. And that is why Girls On The Run is so much fun. I rang the doorbell. ME: Wanna hear a pizza joke? YOU: Sure. We do math and we are learning how you can measure things. In kindergarten we read books. We do crafts on Fridays. And we play Popcorn Word games on Fridays. We do ‘Go Noodle’, which is when someone does a dance and we get to copy them. My favorite thing we do is the Wheel. It’s when our tables get to become stations, and there is a teacher working at each one. We get to move around to each station and work on writing, iPads, our Artist: Thomas Long, 4th Grade, Mrs. Arbutina letters, and we color and we play with PlayDoh. I love kindergarten. There is GIANT putty, (Dairy Free!) mini putty, magnetic putty, smelly putty and more! It is located in Norristown, PA. Lots of fun By: Leo Manno, 1st Grade, Mrs. Meile even for my parents!
