Kathy Perini The Temple City Unified school board appointed two consult- ants to share the duties of superintendent as it begins its search for a replacement for Kathy Perini. The school board voted in closed session May 23 to appoint Mark Skvarna and Richard Tauer, consultants from Sacramento-based Capitol Advisors Group, to serve as interim co-superintendents as the district begins searching for a successor to Perini. District staff has yet to complete its contract with Capitol Advi- sors Group, so details about its length and cost to the district are not yet available, TCUSD spokeswoman Katherine Healey said. The contract is expected to be fully drafted and presented to the board for approval in June. The board voted in March to extend
