  • Divergence of Myrobalan (Prunus Cerasifera Ehrh.) Types on the Territory of Serbia
UDC 575: 634.22 Original scientific paper DIVERGENCE OF MYROBALAN (Prunus cerasifera Ehrh. ) TYPES ON THE TERRITORY OF SERBIA Dragan NIKOLI Ć and Vera RAKONJAC Faculty of Agriculture, Belgrade-Zemun, Serbia Nikoli ć D. and V. Rakonjac (2007): Divergence of myrobalan (Prunus cerasifera ehrh.) types on the territory of Serbia.. – Genetika, Vol. 39, No. 3, 333 - 342. Variability of some more prominent pomological characteristics was examined in three regions of Serbia (central, western, southern). In all the regions, significant variability of all studied characteristics was established. However, no specifics were manifested between regions, therefore, identical types emerge in all the regions. This is indicated by similar intervals of variation as well as similar mean values of characteristics per region. The obtained results lead to the conclusion that the entire territory of Serbia should be observed as a unique myrobalan population with highly expressed polymorphism of characteristics. To preserve genetic variability of myrobalan, collection is recommended for those types that were arranged into various groups and subgroups according to the results of cluster analysis. Key word: myrobalan, natural population, pomological characteristics, phenotypic variability ______________________________ Corresponding author: Dragan Nikoli ć, Faculty of Agriculture, Nemanjina 6, 11080 Belgrade-Zemun, Serbia, e-mail: [email protected] 334 GENETIKA, Vol. 39, No. 3, 333 -342, 2007. INTRODUCTION The myrobalan or cherry plum ( Prunus cerasifera Ehrh.) is native to southeastern Europe or southwestern Asia. Its seedlings are used for the most part as a rootstock for plum (W EINBERGER , 1975; E RBIL and S OYLU , 2002), but lesser for apricot (D IMITROVA and M ARINOV , 2002) and almond and peach (D UVAL et al ., 2004).

Genetika, Vol 45, No. 2, 493-502. Studies were undertaken to identify genetic relationships among ten different species of the family Pinaceae through randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. Eighteen arbitrary RAPD primers produced 123 fragments of which 107 were polymorphic (87%). The similarity coefficient values varied from 0.34 to 0.67. The highest similarity coefficient was detected between Pinus wallichiana and P. strobus as well as between Picea abies and P. orientalis , and the lowest was detected between three Pinus species ( P. heldreichii , P. peuce and P. wallichiana ) and Picea omorika . The analysis of RAPD markers confirmed the genetic relationships among species. Genus Picea is clearly separated from genus Pinus and is closer to genus Abies (A. concolor ) than to genus Pinus , what confirms up-to-date numerous comparative- morphological, anatomical, chemotaxonomic and molecular results of these closely related genera.

  • Environmental Management Plan ZEMUN Construction of New
Environmental Management Plan ZEMUN Construction of new Archive Depot Building for permanent storage and preservation of archival cadastral documents Belgrade – Municipality of Zemun December 2018 1 1. Introduction During the funding period 2004 - 2012 The World Bank supported Real Estate Cadastre and Registration Project (RECRP) that helped Serbia to establish the Real Estate Cadastre (REC), a single system for real property rights registration, which is under the authority of the Republic Geodetic Authority. The main aim of this Project was to extend support to the development and general advancement of the real estate market on the territory of the Republic of Serbia through formation of a unique real estate cadastre on its territory. Project had two components - Technical and Operational Development and Support (development of a methodology and formation of a real estate cadastre, as well as its maintenance combined with the quality services extended to the customers) and Institutional Development and Capacity Building of RGA. Also, as achievements of this project, the time required to register transactions has been reduced, cadastral offices have been renovated, important geodetic infrastructures have been built and customer satisfaction has improved. Although results of the RECR Project and improvements in Serbia’s real property services were significant, the Government of Republic of Serbia recognized that “there is a whole set of additional reforms in the land sector that need to be undertaken. They relate to building a unified and transparent mass property valuation system to improve property taxation, streamlining and simplifying the process of issuing construction permits, strengthening the e- governance system by enabling on-line use of data related to land and real estate, and most importantly, building the institutional capacities for implementing these reforms.” In response to that, a new World Bank’s funded project in the land sector has been prepared in Serbia – The Real Estate Management Project.

In this connection, we would like to bring to the attention of your Excellency’s Government information we have received concerning the alleged destruction of a mezhdit (house of God) of a small Muslim Ashkali community, and physical threats and violence against individuals during the course of the demolition operation. According to the information received: The Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian community of Zemun Polje, a municipality on the margins of Belgrade, is a Muslim community that comprises of approximately 200-300 households, with reportedly 500-800 persons. The majority of these are reportedly displaced persons from Kosovo, in particular Kosovo Polje. The community has been present in the municipality for more than 40 years. One mezhdit (house of god) exists in the community on a property that was given to the community in 2007 by the municipality. The community organises after- school activities for children on the ground floor and there is a prayer room upstairs. It was made clear from the outset by the authorities that the community could not transform the premises into a mosque.

Results of amino acid racemization geochronology confirmed middle- and late-Pleistocene ages of Ruma’s loess-paleosol sequences, and correlates with aminostratigraphic subdivisions at other Central European sites. Paleopedological analyses describe morphology, mineralogy, grain-size distribution and carbonate content of the sediments and paleosols. Five paleosol levels represent the environmental transition from humid forest environments to relatively dry steppe interglacial landscapes during the last about 350 ka. Especially interesting are thick pedogenic layers formed in distinct paleo-depressions, which were created during the last glacial cycle. These horizons provide proxy data useful in the detailed reconstruction of environmental conditions during marine oxygen-isotope stages 5 and 3. Key words: loess-paleosol sequences, paleopedology, Ruma section, Serbia. RESUMEN La sección de loess Ruma, localizada en la parte central del talud meridional de la montaña Fruska Gora, expone una serie de loess y paleosuelos de 20 m de espesor en un depósito localizado en la fábrica local de ladrillo.

  • Geographical Index of Concentration As an Indicator of the Spatial Distribution of Tourist Attractions in Belgrade
TURIZAM Volume 25, Issue 1 45–54 (2021) ORIGINAL SCIENTIFIC PAPER Geographical Index of Concentration as an Indicator of the Spatial Distribution of Tourist Attractions in Belgrade Sanja PavlovićA, Radmila JovanovićB Received: July 2020 | Accepted: March 2021 DOI: 10.5937/turizam25-27553 Abstract The spatial structure of tourist attractions can be presented both qualitatively and quanti- tatively. One of the indicators of the spatial structure of tourism is the index of geographi- cal concentration of tourist attractions. The geographical concentration of tourist attractions represents the ratio of the number of tourist attractions in the observed area and its struc- tural parts and the total number of structural units of the analyzed area. This paper aims to determine the spatial distribution of attractions in the administrative territories of Belgrade municipalities and to establish correlations with tourist attendance. The number and spatial distribution of accommodation capacities are the largest in the central city municipalities so that the number of visitors is the largest in them. At the same time, the central city municipal- ities have the highest concentration of tourist attractions. For data collection, the authors used field research, OSM (Open Street Maps), Google maps, with software processing ArcGIS 10.2. The research results enabled the definition of the model of distribution of tourist attractions and indicated its application. This model of distribution of tourist attractions shows that they are mostly concentrated in the city center. This also means a small spatial connection of tour- ist attractions in the city center and peripheral parts. Keywords: tourist attractions, spatial distribution, geographical index, Belgrade Introduction The competition of tourist values in an area, among other things, relies on the structure of the tourist resource.
