I have been participating in motor racing since I was 5 years old. In the Bambini class I gained my first wins in racing. In 2012, it was the right moment for me to advance to the X30 Junior division. Here, I was extremely motivated to quickly move up the ranks and finished many races in first place. In the 2013 season, alongside many other triumphs in various karting races I seized the winner‘s title at the ADAC German Masters. In the same season at the European Masters, I was the best German participant and landed in 10th place. In the 2014 season I switched to car racing. In the Formula Renault 1.6. I achieved the 9th and 5th place and I won the Top German title in that competition as well. 2015 continued with another year of racing in the Formula 1.6 Nordic in Sweden. I ended that year with many accomplish- ments, including numerous placings on the winners‘ podium and one outright win. In September of 2015 I founded a karting team, where I share my experience with young drivers. Main focus of my activities are the organization of the events, the implementation, the maintenance of the karts, and the support as well as the coaching of young drivers. In 2016 I moved to the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC. In 2017 I started my racing season off with a triple win in Barcelona and I finished with the title of Runner-Up in the V de V Challenge Monoplace championships. Then 2018 I entered into the Michelin Le Mans Cup with a prototype of the LMP3 class. At the same time I attacked in GT3 sports as a FIA silver driver aboard a Porsche 911 GT3 R with Schütz Motorsport. In the cham- pionship of the Michelin Le Mans Cup, I finished the season in seventh place out of 50 participants.     Twenty-Nine Cars for 2018 Michelin Le Mans Cup The Michelin Le Mans Cup continues to grow with another big increase in the number of full season entries for the 2018 season across the LMP3 and GT3 classes: 29 cars will fight on track to win the title. LMP3: A massive grid for a stronger competition The LMP3 class has attracted a massive 23 car entry, underlying the importance of the category in the endurance racing ladder. There are several teams returning for a second season, many fielding multi car entries, with new teams joining the grid to take up the challenge on six of the toughest race tracks in Europe. The large field will see Ligier, Norma and Ginetta go head to head. 2017 Champions DKR Engineering are back to defend their title with the n°3 Norma M30 – Nissan driven by a brand new driver line up of Léonard Hoogenboom from the Netherlands and Germany’s Jens Petersen. 2017 Vice Champions Tony Wells and Colin Noble return to try and win the title they lost out on last season. Nielsen Racing will be racing under the Ecurie Ecosse / Nielsen banner in 2018 with a two car effort. Tony Wells will be in the no2 Ligier with James Littlejohn and Colin Noble in the no79 Ligier with fellow Scot Alasdair McCaig. Even if you know nothing else about motor sport, you will probably have heard of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It is not just a race, it is history in the making. It is a celebration of courage and endurance and it is a giant week-long outdoor party for race fans. Those and many other things make it unique. Disciples of racing make the pilgrimage to Le Mans from all over the globe. For some it is a trip they make regularly and for others it is a once in a lifetime experience. Club Arnage has since its inception, been dedicated to making that experience better for everyone. The Guide is part of that mission. This is a new look guide for 2017. In previous years our race guide has been focussed on our traditional diet of general advice on things like camp-sites and local amenities. Things have moved on a little in the quarter century or so of the guide and information is far more generally accessible than it used to be. It was also clear that for a guide published between Test Day and Race Week, carrying information to help you choose a camp site and plan your trip was somewhat of a moot point for the huge majority of race fans who would already have done such planning many months before.
