By Auntie M4Doro@ aol.com Here we go into the Holiday Season, starting things off with that creepy, ghoulish, Hal- loween with witches, warlocks, and freaky clowns, running amuck at all your favorite clubs and bars, brewing up drink specials in their cauldrons. So, for a “trick or a treat” check out what’s happening.Daylight savings time happens on Sunday, November 4th where you turn your clocks back one hour to have more time to party and have fun at your favorite watering hole. Sunday, November 11th is Veteran’s Day so take time and make sure you personally thank a Vet for their service, because of them, we have the freedoms we have. And then the biggest drinking night of the year is Wednesday, November 21st the night before Thanksgiving Day, when you go out and get your drunk on before getting together with their families, and stuff themselves with turkey and all the trimmings, watch football, and nap. Many bars will be open on Thanksgiving Day for those who don’t have an extended family, also to have drinks with your “other” family. Grotesque Burlesque is one of their scariest anticipated shows of the years, where the creeps and freaks will take over Sidetraxx Dance Bar with performances by: Charlie Champlayin, Twiggy Pop, Tam- bourine Walters, Lydia Schizophrenia, Otto Erotica, and Baby B. Then on Saturday, October 27th it’s “A Nightmare on Franklin Street Halloween Party” hosted by Sidetraxx Dance Bar is the biggest Halloween Party in town!
