Old Stuff:

ZDayZ discussion – Your Zecretary humbly retracts part of what he said in the November minutes and now states what Andy meant. Andy is not planning to have a show at ZDayZ this year. Other activities (some being planned by clubs) will occur; and, of course, there will be many opportunities to cruise around on some very nice mountain roads, see some local attractions, etc. ZDayZ is still planned for the weekend before Memorial Weekend (17/18 May). Larry & Katie made their reservations before leaving Fontana Village last May. Making reservations sooner rather than later would be a good bet.

Club Membership expansion. We THOUGHT we were going to vote on this at the December meeting; however, that did not happen. A lot of discussion was had and we had a motion, second and majority vote to have a formal bylaws change vote at the January meeting (also see E-mail discussions for some of the latest feedback … ). To recap, the initial list of models is:

Walt is fairly adamant that the G35 NOT be included …

The Christmas party at Walt's house was a “smashing success”; fortunately, there were no injuries and no damage. Lots of donations for the “Toys for Tots” program which were promptly delivered to the Marine Reserve Center and Katie cajoled a letter of recognition from the troops! The January meeting will still be at “Cheers”. Unfortunately, there were no formal suggestions for alternatives at the December meeting or forthcoming via E-Mail to me in the days following the meeting so I do NOT have a consolidated list for everyone's consideration. If you have a place in mind, please make sure they have a “private” section where we can get some isolation from the regular evening trade. Also, verify if there is a “meeting room” charge. Many places don’t if you are buying food, but we want to know before hand if they do. Please E-Mail any candidate locations to me for recording. Let’s make this happen! At this time, the known firm suggestions are:

• “Mr. Salsa” Mexican Restaurant on Woodruff Road (~3/4 mile from FATZ).

Gore’s Corvette World will be sponsoring the annual Motorama show in March. More information will be provided in January for interested members. Additionally they are planning a limited entry show in May. This show will be memorial weekend in Fletcher, NC. Larry and Katie have the details if you are REALLY interested!

It was rumored that Greer Nissan may be hosting a care show. If anyone has any additional information, please pass it on.

Recurring Stuff:

Please keep up with your renewal date and get your dues to Katie in a timely manner. You cannot vote on any club business if you are “expired”!
