All our patios are laid to the same high standards using the best materials in the right quantities.
The difference between each patio range is the paving slabs used and the mate- rials they are made from and the extra processess they go through to get the re- quired finish.
For example paving from the the classic range is the finest Indian sandstone but the stone is only split meaning it has natural slight rivens and doesnt take that much to do.
The sawn versuro for instant is sawn, shotblasted and chamfered on the edges instead of being split. These extras processes take time and expensive machines hence the higher cost to get that required finish.

Manhole covers are ugly and stand out like a sore thumb.
They spoil the look of a patio. And most people have them some people especially on new estates have more than one.
So to make the manholes look better we use inset manhole covers as seen below to disguise the old ugly manhole covers.
Drainage
Drainage for a patio can just be simply a gravel boarder at the end of the patio as seen above.
The gravel boarder can also disguise the height differences between the patio and your grass.
Your patio will always run away from the house because the last thing you want is water running towards your house.
Only in exceptional circumstances will we have to put a proper drainage channel in.

Steps are needed if you feel the height difference between your new patio and your house is too much.
Steps are almost certainly needed in newer house as the house is much higher than the patio. In some circumstances you may need a 2 tier step.
You can have steps at your back door and also at your patio door.
You can choose from two styles of steps, premium and Classic as seen below.
Premium Step
A deluxe step is made in the same way as a standard step using red or Charcoal engineering bricks depending on the colour scheme of your patio.
But to finish off the Deluxe look bull nose step tops are used instead of slab tops.

Grey Limestone Chippings
A basic driveway uses decorative aggregates.
A basic driveway is installed to the same high standard as our other driveways in which we use a MOT type 1 sub-base.
The difference is the material we use to top the driveway, which is a decorative aggreagte which is more cost effective then blocks or slabs escpicially on larger driveways.
