I see faults in both arguments. Back when Biden was the Vice President, we still had racism in our country. We still had poverty and increasing inequality. Simply electing a President Biden wouldn’t solve all of our problems. But I strongly believe that President’s Bernie will be unable to bring about the revolution that he promises. If Presidents were able to single-handedly create Column revolutions, President Trump would’ve done it already. Of course, it would be quite different from the revolution that Bernie touts, Leora Tanjuatco but it would be a revolution nonetheless. It is only because of our system of checks and balances that there is a semblance of a democracy still intact. Of course, come November, I’ll vote for Bernie or Biden, whoever the nominee is. And in December, I’ll continue work as Super Tuesday, and the a member of the Democratic party, whoever our President is. Tuesdays Before It For as far back as 2018, I can remember people asking me Fire Prevention who I was going to vote for, as the Democratic nominee for President. At first, I was a proud member of the KHive — I loved by Chris Roat Kamala Harris. I thought she had the potential to unite the party and, because of her resemblance to Obama (in race, experience, and moderate political strategy), become our first female president. Honestly, I felt that she was different enough from Hillary that the question of her electability would be answered more clearly in the affirmative than any of the other female candidates. Then, I took one of the policy tests from The Washington Post and found that Cory Booker’s proposed policies were most in line with my values and opinions. Being the policy-focused person that I am, I considered supporting him instead of Kamala. After Christmas and after Kamala had dropped out, I was riding in a car in upstate New York, once again answering the question of who I would vote for. “Biden.” I said. “Because we have to remember that Hillary won the popular vote, and she didn’t win the election because of the electoral college. I’ve read Our country is burning. And I'm not just talking about a a couple of things that said that Biden has the best chance in the President's pants being on fire. People's “That makes sense,” my husband’s cousin replied, “but if we lives and livelihoods are being destroyed. It's clear that it's all- really want a woman as president, we have to vote for women. If hands-on-deck to deal with the current situation, as we pin we don’t vote for a woman, we become the reasons why women our hopes on future leaders to help clean things up. can’t succeed in politics.” If we take a step back, how did we get here? If you look Her reasoning stuck with me. It stuck in my head all the way around, you'll notice a lot of kindling which is fueling the until February 20th, when I cast my vote for Elizabeth Warren. My friends who support With this much fuel, it was only a matter of time before a Bernie have argued that he is going to lead the revolution that we spark found the right conditions to ignite into the devastation need. My friends who support Biden contend that he is the best we see. It's going to take a lot of effort to put out the current positioned to defeat Trump, and restore our democratic fires, but we should not forget to dedicate time and effort to institutions so that we will no longer have to suffer anxiety attacks fire prevention. Otherwise, we will never make progress as we as we read the nightly news.
