Titanic Belfast & Hickson’s Point 1

No other Titanic experience comes close. Titanic Belfast is the largest and most authentic Titanic experience in the world and is located right where the famous liner was built and launched over 100 years ago. Titanic Belfast was voted the World’s Leading Visitor Attraction in 2016. The event suites offer superb levels of service within state of the facilities, in natural daylight, with views of and Cave Hill beyond.

Guests can walk through the atmospheric Titanic galleries, learning about its creation and Belfast’s maritime heritage. Programme enhancements include afternoon tea in the Titanic Suite and Discovery Tours of the slipways where the Titanic was built. Maximum capacity for a banquet is 500 guests.

Hickson’s Point is inspired by one of the first ship builders in Belfast, Titanic Belfast and offers an authentic 1900’s shipyard public house setting. Crumlin Road Gaol 3

Built in 1846, this Grade A listed Victorian era prison is now a riveting and sometimes grisly visitor experience documenting over 150 years of Belfast’s history. Guided tours allow guests to explore the building’s Crumlin Road Gaol, Belfast colourful past and gain an insight into the daily lives of prisoners and prison officers over the Gaol’s existence.

Hear about the history of the site from when women and children were held within its walls through to the political segregation of republican and loyalist prisoners. Alternatively, walk through the gates after dark to search for paranormal activity on the site which saw 17 men executed.

It features many distinctive artworks, dedicated to victims of all wars, as well as numerous fine textiles and carvings. The 40-metre ‘Spire of Hope’ was recently built above the choir stalls, allowing visitors to view it from the nave. SS Nomadic, the small ship that served as tender to Titanic, is the last remaining ship and a piece of unique maritime heritage located within walking distance of Titanic Belfast. The ship is available for exclusive evening hire.

Guests can cross the gangway as a first-class passenger, be warmly welcomed to a champagne reception by the famous character Molly Brown, followed by a White Star Line dining experience. The evening ends with guests learning a traditional ceilidh.
