Fitbit, Mastercard to launch Fitbit Pay in Thailand Wearable device manufacturer Fitbit has teamed up with Mastercard, Siam Commercial Bank and Krungthai Card to launch Fitbit Pay in Thailand. Customers can now add Mastercard cards to two Fitbit smartwatches, the Fitbit Ionic or Fitbit Versa, to make contactless payments. Fitbit Pay will also be introduced on the Fitbit Charge 3 soon. The service uses Mastercard’s Digital Enablement Service, which digitises the card onto the device to enable contactless transactions.
