Rules & General Information

Entry Deadline for all cattle classes, and for stalls and pens is October 1, 2008 $100 penalty charged on late entry. No Exceptions! No Refunds!

Stalls ($80) and Covered pens ($40) must be reserved through show secretary. Include payment with your entry. Inquire with show secretary for prices for one night stay.

Social Security Numbers for each owner are required on the entry form or we will not release a check.

NRHA rules apply to all Reining classes and events.

NRCHA and NRC&CHA rules apply to all Working Cowhorse classes and events.

Combined Classes: Horses may be cross-entered in combined classes by paying both entry fees minus the lower cattle charge. The horse will only run once and this score will count for both classes.

Open and Non Pro Snaffle Bit Classic and Open and Non Pro Bridle Horse Challenge Events will run concurrently.

A Non Pro is defined as anyone whose primary source of income is not derived from training and/or showing horses for three years prior to the show date. The horse exhibited must be owned by the contestant, ranch for which the contestant works, or by a family member. The horse must be shown in all events by the same rider.

Must have 5 horses or more in a class or event for added money. Payout schedule based on actual number of horses shown. In classes 12 & 13, 10% of the pot is paid to high score fence, herd, & dry, remaining 70% paid in average. 1-3 1 Money 100% 6-10 3 Monies 50-30-20% 4-5 2 Monies 60-40% 11+ 4 Monies 40-30-20-10%

Awards: Championship Saddle to overall high point earner of the 4 & Under Snaffle Bit Classic. Buckles go to 1st in Class # 1-4 and 12-16. All other classes are jackpot only.

Additional Incentive Program: Trainer Incentive Program 2008 is Year 3 of 3 Year Program All working cow horse classes are eligible. Reining and halter classes are not. Each trainer may enter any number of horses in any number of cow horse classes. At the end of the 3rd year, 2008, the trainer who has accumulated the most money won at the 2006-2007-2008 Fallon Stock Horse Spectaculars will receive a bonus of $3,000.
