A1021 Deeds for the Irish estates and family settlements of the Earls of Mornington, 1681-1876

Wellesley Pole married on 17 May 1784 Katherine Elizabeth Forbes, the first daughter and coheir of Admiral the Hon John Forbes (second son of George, third Earl of Granard). Her sister Maria married J.C.Villiers, later third . Wellesley Pole's daughter, Emily Harriet (1792-1881), married Lord Fitzroy Somerset, later first Baron Raglan (1788-1854); and his daughter Priscilla Anne (1793- 1879) married John Fane, Lord Burghersh, later eleventh (1784-1859). His son, William Wellesley Pole, later Pole Tylney Long Wellesley, fourth Earl of Mornington (1788-1857), married, firstly, Catherine Tylney Long (1789-1825) in 1812; and secondly, in 1828, Helena Bligh (d. 1869), the widow of Captain Thomas Bligh.
