VoL LXXXIXNo. 49 The University of Connecticut Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1985 Arms conference aired nationwide By Chuck Lindberg Daily Campus Staff The problems and risks of the nuclear arms race and the poss- ible success or failure of the meeting between President Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in Geneva on Nov. 19, were discussed in a nationwide video conference on nuclear arms control, which was held in room P38 of the Physics building Tues- day night to an audience of about 100. The conference consisted of two panel discussions,—the first on the possibility of a nuclear war and how to prevent it featuring panel members Paul Bracken, a professor at Yale University, Henry Kendall, a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Sea Albert Gore Jr. The second panel consisted of Ambassador Jonathon Dean and Leslie Gelb of the New York Times. The documentary traces the band from the original recording sessions through its first live concert performance in Paris, France The film is remarkable because, unlike concert movies such as "Let it Be" or "The Last Waltz" which were made at the end of a band's career, this one is able to start from a group's roots.
