There are events and activities for everyone, such as guided walks, children's activities, volunteer tasks and much more. Hosted by Carr Gomm and Fork in the Road. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

A Walk In The Park Friday 12th April 2.00pm - 3.30pm Join us on a guided walk through the park, looking out for signs of spring and discovering some of the wildlife that call the park home. Please bring suitable footwear and dress for the weather. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Bat Walk

Wednesday 24th April 8.00pm Join bat expert Graeme Wilson and discover the bats that call Craigmillar Castle Park home. Please bring a torch if you have one. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at the adventure playground in the park. May Rabble Wed 22nd May 11.00am - 12.00pm Remember when you were a kid playing games in the park? Exercise wasn't a boring chore then and it shouldn't have to be now! The aim of Rabble games is to have fun and feel good. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Herbal Workshop Friday 24th May 2.00pm - 4.00pm Floramedica will be providing a fantastic foraging workshop on the edible and medicinal plants found in the park. Booking is required as spaces are limited.

Tea In The Park

Wed 29th May 2.00pm - 3.30pm Join us for a gentle walk in the woods followed by a hot cuppa to warm up afterwards. Please bring suitable footwear and dress for the weather. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

June Falconry Display Sunday 9th June 1.00pm - 3.30pm Elite Falconry’s famous display team will be bringing along a selection of birds of prey to the park. This is a special chance to see these beautiful and often elusive birds up close. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Little France BioBlitz Week beginning 17th June Join us for a week of fun and exciting workshops as we record the wildlife found in Park with the Scottish Wildlife Trust and City of Edinburgh Council. We will be carrying out bee & butterfly transects, bird walks and much more!
