IST Meteorological Analysis (Based on 0830 Hrs IST Observations) Weather Watch :-Heavy rainfall occured at isolated places over Vidarbha West madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.Thunderstorm observed at few places over Vidarbha and at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh. Very light to moderate rainfall occurred at many places over Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh. Monsoon Watch :- NIL Inference:- The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level now runs through Amritsar, Moradabad, Barabanki, Patna, Bankura, Canning and thence east-southeastwards to northeast Bay of Bengal. The upper air cyclonic circulation over Kerala & neighbourhood now lies over southeast Arabian sea adjoining Kerala and extends upto 2.1 km above mean sea level. The trough from this system now runs upto south Madhya Maharashtra across coastal Karnataka and extends upto 0.9 km above mean sea level. The upper air cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan and adjoining south Pakistan persists and now extends between 1.5 km and 3.1 km above mean sea level. Datia recorded the highest maximum temparature of 38.4 degree celsius. Damoh recorded the Lowest minimum temperature of 19.0 degree celsius. IST Meteorological Analysis (Based on 0830 Hrs IST Observations) Weather Watch :- Heavy to very heavy rainfall occured at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rainfall occured at isolated places over Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Thunderstorm observed at few places over Chhattisgarh Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. Very light to moderate rainfall occurred at most places over Vidarbha and West Madhya Pradesh and at many places over East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. Monsoon Watch :- Monsoon been active over Vidarbha Inference:- The well marked low pressure area over central parts of Gujarat & neighbourhood now lies over northern parts of Saurashtra and adjoining Gujarat region with the associated upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height. It is likely to concentrate into a depression during next 12 hours over Kutch & neighbourhood.     AC C IDENT MANUAL (For official use only) WEST CENTRAL RAILWAY DECEMBER 2004 PREFACE The Accident Manual is a compendium of all instructions, rules, regulations and guidelines issued from time to time on the subject of railway accidents. This is the first edition of Accident Manual brought out by West Central Railway. The edition contains the instructions issued upto 31st Oct.2004. Relevant provisions of Indian Railway Act, 1989 have been incorporated in the Manual. Accident Manual should be studied carefully by all Railwaymen who are connected with train operation, maintenance of assets and should find a place in their personal equipment. The provisions contained in the Manual are in conformity with the General and Subsidiary rules (G&SR). However, whenever there is a conflict in the instructions in the manual and the G&SR the provisions of General and Subsidiary Rules will apply.
