South Cumberland TN Promise Saturday: Living the CCC Life Join Ranger Park at the Grundy Forest Pavilion for a chance to not only give park to your community but to earn valuable volunteer hours for TN Promise. The Grundy Day Loop was originally constructed back in the 1930s and has since been a popular destination for nature lovers, hikers, and photographers from all around the world. But 80+ years of use have led to some pretty major erosion problems! We will be working much the same way the CCC boys did all those years ago to dig out trail, build rock steps, and relive the daily life of a trail boss! All tools will be provided, just bring a lunch, water, and sturdy shoes. Donuts, fruit, coffee and juice will be provided as a breakfast. 6/24/2017
